Wild weather is threatening millions of people across the country right now -- powerful storm system barreling toward the great plains.
Where some places could see several inches of sleet and snow.
In Tulsa Oklahoma City I -- by the way city officials there are already getting the sand and plows ready.
And in parts of the south residents could see a record setting day.
Of Christmas tornadoes.
Our chief meteorologist -- right here is live in the box extreme weather center tornadoes.
He had tornadoes on Christmas Day a lot of people across the south need to watch as a really complex storm.

But the colder settle down here across parts of the south.
So we have snow but it's so warm across parts of the south once you get towards gulf.
That we have the severe weather concerns and we've had tornado warnings already today one tornado watch box here it's gonna expire 1 o'clock local time over towards New Orleans.
That's the first batch of storms that are moving through there's another batch.
That a good to begin to pull in towards the Houston area and this tornado watch box in effect -- -- -- get a little bit of a break in between these storms and then the line of storms move through again.
And -- potentially today looking at very large destructive tornadoes.
And that's -- were so concerned about this mystery how a future radar situation looks into this temperature here right now nine degrees in Omaha.
Twenty -- Oklahoma City these camps -- met behind this storm.
And we still watch the severe weather pull off towards the south we're gonna do a blizzard conditions.
Across parts of Missouri but it just quickly want to assure you this bull's -- of the threat for severe weather anywhere you see this -- across parts of Texas Louisiana and Mississippi and Alabama.
