It's all rhetoric we're now on our third generation of North Korean leaders whose sole purpose is to shake down the west.

By Mike help this is the 26 time the North Korean leader has tried to dangle the olive branch in front of the -- that of course it's it's come to nothing.

The only thing that's really change here -- the idea that now the north Koreans have developed a three state military rocket.

It made a little bigger at a nuclear warhead -- a little smaller solemn -- will be able to reach the western United States so all of a sudden now this is it just South Korea's problem it's our problem.

-- think today's announcement had anything to do with that rocket launch that was back in December.

Of course it does because this in the in the minds of the North Korean leadership this sort of heightens there -- there brother tosses it if you will with the region and they're going to use this as a leverage to try to gate resources from the south.

Mainly food and fuel they've done this dozens of times before what we have to keep.

In mind is the next big thing would be another nuclear test.

And if that occurs and it may occur within the next three or four months the whole strategic picture in the region is going to change.

Said that the last rocket launch in December I was condemned by the united nations Security Council as a violation sanction them.

Banning it from conducting further long range ballistic missile -- but we know about these sanctions.

They don't seem to work so what do we need to do it.

A couple of things first of all the ball -- Or -- gravity of this regime is that it's new.

Kim Jong-un is -- and for the first time ever the North Korean population is being opened up through social media.

And through.

The pirating of dvds.

And computer programs in the Internet.

The great weakness of the regime is too exposed to this citizens of North Korea.

What a terrible terrible.

A country they live -- help for their living in conditions are and the second thing is -- military perspective we've got to get tough with them.

Any effort to open the country -- lift sanctions to.

Perhaps.

Offer them food or fuel -- I think is should be immediately all the table.
