Lot of lawmakers now holding their noses that's because for all the headlines about the bush tax cuts being preserved for millions of Americans.

The deal in DC still taxes three quarters of Americans.

And it barely contains a -- spending cuts and -- four trillion dollars -- the national debt all that was too much for my next guest congresswoman Marsha Blackburn.

Among the 151.

Republicans voting no on the house side and good morning.

The -- thank you for your time -- What did you not like about this and other then everything.

-- -- sad there's a lot not to like about the bill I it doesn't have spending cuts it doesn't show any kind of fiscal.

Restrain it continues to get some of these special -- tax breaks.

That we said need to be off the books.

And it runs up the long term dad and I'm one of those house conservatives and that is just that.

You people that are taken it can't give me that can't but cause what we're going to do -- draw a line in the sand and start demanding.

They you don't bring anything forward unless you hand the spending cuts.

There's some Republicans who did vote for it.

-- the house speaker and others why.

I you know -- that's -- question asked them I never speak for anyone else.

And I know some liked the idea that there -- some permanency and the tax -- yes indeed that is something we have fought for.

But bill -- is -- us if we hadn't been -- for these things.

Eight there's no telling how bad.

It would have that ban.

And while we have to do is make certain and that is spending cuts are first and foremost in the minds of the American people -- We cannot continue to run a Ford.

Billion dollar a day deficit.

A trillion dollar a year deficit and have a sixteen trillion dollar plus.

National day after we cannot afford this it's just like I government.

So far I don't think you would find a lot of disagreement if you walk the halls of the capitol -- But what's so off on the outside what we hear batter politicians fighting for political victories.

And not fighting for how the country can win.

Well and that's exactly right good policy should make good politics and what we need to be thinking about is the next generation.

Our children and our grandchildren look.

When you have this amount of -- what we are doing it as it.

And taking their futures are little children and grandchildren that are dreaming big dreams consider an elementary stolen -- still in high school.

We're saying the -- we're going to cap your future and try to of the people bit -- -- this adapt.

It has to be dealt with in the people that created it.

Thank you got to deal with that and -- I don't know how worried.

But you know this takes guts these are big big -- dots do you -- do you think this president.

Has the guts to do it.

Well I was very disappointed.

In his demeanor and the -- -- that he made last night.

Wanting no fight over the debt ceiling are you kidding me.

You know -- people are demanding our constituents are demanding that we focus on this and I -- constituency said -- If you need to raise my taxes raise my taxes they change their too soon.

When they found out that the money from the additional -- as it did not -- to pay down the dad what was going to be used to incentivized yes plot.

More spend -- People have had -- watching -- you needs to be put on -- -- that died at.

Do you think getting good luck with that we've been waiting at the American people -- -- -- Gee -- don't believe for interview by Mitch McConnell -- argument the Republican senator on the senate side from contract.

What when he says we play with a much stronger hands.

When it comes to fighting over the debt ceiling.

And order knack -- spending cuts and get the entitlement reform.

Do you buy that.

I I tell you I think our strongest hand is when we say no.

No you're not going to be able to spend more money I think every federal.

Department and agency should do plot.

Republicans in the house and done we voted to cut our budgets and by 11%.

Across the board.

Across the board cuts work our state accused some local governments use -- the federal government is -- not exempt from best.

They need to make these -- we have to get this fiscal house in order we have to deal with the trust funds which are Social Security.

And to Medicare and we've got to worry about the next generation not the next election.

Marsha Blackburn thank you.

We -- you next sixty days appreciate your time.
