Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Mario Molina from the fox extreme weather center with your forecast for the northwest and also portions of the midwest and it is gonna be a very cold -- -- across places.

In -- midwest not much because of the actual temperatures like we're only going to be seeing highs.

Into the thirties or even -- for some of you but you factor and a little bit of a breeze.

And windchill temperatures will be a lot cooler than that so another has -- outdoors and Dakotas Nebraska North -- expecting high temperature just thirty.

274 -- Salt Lake City and 27 as well in this city of Missoula Montana but.

Coastal areas in the Pacific northwest not too bad like Seattle 4640.

Over in Portland.

And a high temperature actually making it into the fifties and northern parts of California as far as rain -- not much in the way of that across the Pacific northwest.

We had a nice quiet stretch of weather here for the New Year's -- in -- -- -- good news for us.

And we're -- -- a dry weather for today little snow showers are flying around places in the midwest -- things to a clipper system.

As -- down from Canada and basically bringing in that reinforcing shot of cold air into our area.

And it is also producing some isolated snow showers but it's a very -- systems and not really expecting to see.

Much in the way of snow out there otherwise across places in the Pacific northwest as we -- -- -- Thursday you're gonna see a bit ever returning to.

Some moisture in your area with a couple of isolated showers here and there and even some snow showers across a high elevations of the cascades in the state of Washington.

As we head into your Thursday and Friday but he shouldn't be a big deal not really expecting this.

To be a monster storm so again enjoying relatively quiet weather in both -- -- and also the Pacific northwest.
