So for more on the fiscal cliff deal let's bring in Charlie hurt columnist with The Washington Times Charlie I know you have been -- Washington.

And looking for an adult have you found any.

No that is the one thing that is in short supply around here -- only in Washington would what could we have a deficit reduction.

Plan to a -- pass both chambers of congress and be signed by the president.

That actually increases.

The deficit.

It's just it's absolutely crazy and even you know the the Republicans -- I do understand the argument to be like Paul Ryan make.

About -- protecting a lead them -- -- highest number of taxpayers.

From huge tax increase and that is a very good argument and it's a very and it's a wonderful thing.

Two you know to set in stone these tax cuts that that were way ahead ahead.

Originally set been set to expire.

But the problem is it does not address the problem -- the problem is the spending and and cutting spending is always unpopular.

And these people in this town are simply.

They're loathe to do anything that's unpopular because all they want to do is be loved by their constituents and and you know -- they just wanna be loved I misstated it last hour when I -- -- it when it that it raises spending it actually raises revenues taxes go off.

By 620 billion dollars what did they do on the spending side.

They did virtually nothing -- you know I'm -- well -- to be fair they cut spending.

In in the somewhere in the Iraqi Government exact -- -- -- in twelve villiers I think as the number yet.

And and.

But then they would turn right around and added some 300.

Billion.

In new spending that completely offsets.

The there's the minor the modest cuts that they many.

-- and all and all that is just goodies for people goodies for.

You know constituencies back home and things like that all of which you know the -- who doesn't want a couple of billion dollars I would love to have a couple of billion dollars.

But come all and at some point they have.

Have to be responsible and they have to sort of acknowledge the fact.

That we're broke.

We were out of money were borrowing more than forty cents.

On every dollar from -- places like China and and will you know.

What the madness has to stop and -- and then they say well you know we'll deal with that in the next in in the you know that the the debt ceiling fight well -- That's -- she said about the last time we had -- but they're not dealing with the spending and at some point.

We're gonna have to do that in an everyday that we wait it's -- -- not only does it mean there's going to be more money that we're gonna debate back.

But it's it's gonna get harder it's gonna hurt people more and it's gonna get -- it was interesting.

At sound clip that that -- just played from President Obama talking about how you know it's going to be there.

Modus operandi of his administration from here on out that all cuts.

You know all cuts to the deficit.

-- deficit are going to be balanced.

-- except that they didn't cut the deficit.

Exactly that I just every time I hear that I -- so I'm sorry what cuts.

You know they're okay you wanted to make it balanced okay where the cuts.

But but the other thing is what -- saying there is -- saying that okay next year we're gonna go back and raise more taxes.

Who can hit up for more -- now if you get a raise taxes even further.

On on the so called rich or is he gonna start you know hitting up.

Lower lower lower tax brackets for for this money.

He is saying that they did fit that -- these tax cuts are -- you know this is just the beginning.

We're going to we're we're not going to cut taxes further we're actually gonna gonna have a policy of continuously raising taxes and I and I just wonder who.

Who's he gonna go back and hit up for that for that money.

Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn was on last hour the last show America's Newsroom saying let's cut every department in the federal budget by 10% or 11% that's worth.

Considering but.

They don't get video interview wildly unpopular but it you know that they can't seem to do anything else now Charlie aired he when you find a grown up there in Washington you let us know okay I'll caught I'll call you John thank you.
