Are going to actually -- back over to DC where we have our next guest cued up ready to go Judy Miller you know or you lover Fox News contributor.
We see you on news watch and that today you are.
Our keynote speaker so to speak of the bias -- talking about the liberal media attacking on GOP led congress.
Warranted or another opportunity to push their agenda Judy -- -- Well I think that there is never you know liberals never miss an opportunity to take an opportunity.
And last night all I can say Lawrence I think you have to you would have to agree with me isn't Republicans Republicans gave them an awful lot to write.
And talk about.
I mean the Republican Party is now in serious serious need.
Reinvention and south invention.
And I think that that was very clear by the time Chris Christie.
Peter king and others got through with John Boehner.
And John Boehner got through with Eric Cantor it has been such such a debacle.
That I think it's hard at this point to talk about liberal bias when in fact the Republicans have just left themselves way way -- -- All right Judy and you know when we.
When we watch -- in -- hope you were being able to hear our last few guests you know there has just been so much going on.
In politics lately you know looking ahead we're here at the beginning of the new year looking forward.
You know where do you see what what are some of the big things that you anticipate happening in the next few months what -- you keeping your eyes out for well.
I'm always keeping my eyes out on foreign policy because and national security because those are my two key areas.
And I think that it's we've been able not to concentrate.
On them because of the fiscal cliff and if I have -- A complaint about the media -- I think it has to be that the media have kind of forgotten about the war in Afghanistan.
And that is going to come back in a big way as the president makes some decisions about how many troops were going to keep where.
What they're closing mission will be how he's going to.
Security gains that have been made in the field and how Afghanistan.
Doesn't become known in liberal circles -- kind of the second lost war.
It was really interesting to meet in the New York Times this morning there was a piece about the troop recommendation.
That was being made to the president tennis how many should he leave in place and the figure range between 6020000.
That piece which you would think is kind of an important bit of news.
Was not on the front page and that tells you something about the lack of priority at this place where we still have tens of thousands.
Of Americans committed.
And NATO forces involved so.
War in Afghanistan number one number two.
Always there last year and next year will be.
Iran what Iran will do whether or not another round of talks will get going.
Whether or not the Israelis will continue to bide their time and watch the -- make progress on the nuclear front without doing anything.
We know that that calculation is going to be affected by the Israeli election which is coming up so there's going to be lots and lots of action in the Middle East.
Even though supposedly the president would like to pivot to Asia.
Judy Miller we appreciate you being here for our -- bastion.
