So albeit AA raised base if you will the president delivered what he promised which is tuned up.

Raise the taxes on the wealthy -- fill that the president now has that in the -- so to speak do you think that he is going to be.

I think there's gonna have to be some compromise.

Well a couple things there Fred and we -- we have some Republicans especially.

Some of the Tea Party members who were elected in 2010 they came in saying guess what at all costs will block whatever the president does the mean that's on the table.

However when -- also we also realize that in the in Vice President Biden was the wind from the party and who went ahead and and got the deal done.

Now I can tell you something -- all of although I'm very capable -- many times that let my husband do certain things because they're -- don't wanna hear from me is a woman pushing to get it done.

In the today I just -- to get a -- so does it matter coming up on these major issues that have to be negotiated in fact who's doing the negotiating.

Well it does to a certain point if you the president of the United States -- the president has a responsibility to work out deals to not let them.

Not let the economy had.

Sag and it and it cannot let spending be out of control.

That's his responsibility he can -- W -- You know farm out some of the negotiating but he's got to be the guy that -- is producing.

And I don't think bill President Obama has accepted that responsibility of the way he should have as president I think he's gonna have to in 2013.

-- he's the president he's the man.

It's up to him.

It's his responsibility end and I think he's lucky -- need to worry about the Tea Party people he needs to work out a deal -- You know you get half the Republicans in the house and and most of the Democrats and and that.

And that's a bargain that'll work but he's got to get.

He's got to get at least half of the Republicans in the house -- there's no deal bottom line you're saying he's the big boss so he's got it come to play ball with everybody involved Fred Barnes thank you very much.
