Wow welcome everybody I'm Neil Cavuto and the new house quickly approving.

Sandy aid package that would -- than the old house that's only.

I say only ten billion dollars up front.

And the other fifty billion dollars is on tap but that is the same fifteen billion that -- these politicians have been bellowing about that.

But not a whole northeast politicians near city Republican -- of that Daniel Holland says.

That if it is loaded with pork and goodies for folks who don't needed or deserved -- or -- homes sandy.

Well isn't a remote part of it stopped it.

He doesn't want.

Councilman with the right now councilman but we do know that it's going to be loaded with a lot of that stuff up what are they -- -- look at again this goes back to governance problems spending it just doesn't know how to control itself.

Of the sixty billion dollars allocated for supposedly the emergency relief in hurricane bill.

You're talking about roughly 24 billion which has absolutely nothing to do with hurricane relief.

It's going to projects like the Alaska fisheries it's going to projects like Amtrak subsidies at the tune of almost 330.

Million dollars.

These are things that have nothing to do with that -- with any of the hurricane damage and more importantly are adding onto the national deficit at a time everyone claims.

They want to deal with the.

You don't counselor I am I forgot Syria might -- -- constituents Stan van hearing you but I know what you're talking about but.

I'm wondering how -- they came up with the sixty billion dollars for large -- to New York metropolitan new York New Jersey Connecticut.

How they came up but that figure did date factor in that a third of it would be stolen.

Well -- -- they didn't factor in stock stealing from the pot here the governors of new York and New Jersey made some pretty conservative estimates of about eighty billion dollars in infrastructure damaged.

-- that would need to be -- repaired both federal and state level and local spending.

The government said okay we'll get to about two thirds of that sixty billion dollars.

However.

To get out of the senate to get the approval of of senators from places like Alaska.

It took.

Pork to be -- to -- bill to the tune of about 24 billion dollars and an additional twelve billion of that spending has nothing to do with relief on the ground -- Its future mitigation aid things like looking at the coastlines and and analyzing where we can build better sand -- Bottom line that's sixty billion a -- of governors want it right and let's say it was all toward the purposes of which that added to help their states to but there's there's shorelines whenever you have.

-- that's 24 billion dollars a politician stole this from hurricane victims.

That's right and and not only did they steal it from them they've done exactly what the American people asked them not to do over the past year which is to add to the deficit.

Because this is not spending accounted for in the general budget resolutions passed by both how you -- -- A lot of people don't know what you're saying that you're sharper and more tuned to this and Oliver bay but.

All they know they've made speaker Boehner in the media to be ability and -- Satan because he -- -- an accountability would bestow.

And it turns out there is very little accountability with -- so.

No -- -- to give you an example.

An allotment of several hundred million dollars is going to the Army Corps of Engineers up fine institution.

But there is absolutely no check on what they need to spend it on it have may have nothing to do with hurricane remediation and it's still gonna get spent.

Look our government has an obligation to pass a budget each year.

Fisheries.

-- line items for Homeland Security these are things that should be in the general budget not an emergency aid bill.

And and speaker Boehner was wrong to let congress recess without stripping -- -- down.

And voting eye on the needed.

-- and then sending it back to the senate.

Who gleefully had gone home.

And weren't ready to deal with the fact that this beat the bill should be stripped down to what it needs to do for the and citizens of new York New Jersey and the -- Omar area.

Fascinating -- president -- and thank you -- very much.
