I you know I just wonder why would big government why would the CIA agreed it.

To sort of you know be so cozy with with Hollywood when you know there are already at least among some circles lot of suspicion when it comes to pass it to Hollywood film.

I guess this is something that happens historically where the government will cooperate they want to make sure that that -- story is told and accurately.

Now was classified information reveal what probably every now.

But once a CIA finish -- briefings than it really was up to Hollywood.

But -- I really was struck with when I watch the movie in the torture scenes and particularly the hunt for Osama bin Laden is for four months ago.

When we were told that that YouTube video that would depicted Mohammed at an unattractive way.

That was what caused those are -- don't ride -- and then -- Will -- this kind of if that's the case.

And this movie is gonna send -- shockwaves throughout the Muslim world because it shows the hunt for bin Laden.

American seals killing a man who is in many countries in Pakistan for example so revered as a whole.

And in that movie the -- the YouTube video that you mention the United States denounce that and was very clear that we had nothing to do with the diet this was not -- anything.

But in this case.

The CIA did cooperate with -- makers.

So you could make the argument in -- and you that this was something -- is it's a government sponsored movie.

The thing as I have video.

-- only took a few minutes to watch that was sort of silly and -- and could look like a home movie.

That's a whole lot different than a big screen Hollywood blockbuster.

It's going to be shown on it.

-- though I think the bigger question when it comes of these senators who wants more information from the CIA.

The senate conducted its own investigation which found that.

Enhanced interrogation techniques waterboarding and the like.

Did not lead to the critical information that led us to bin Laden.

And yet.

The acting director of the CIA in remarks to members of the CIA just recently.

Said in fact that we did get some of that affirmation from the enhanced interrogation it was just a part of the information we got other information.

In other other ways.

But that that did play a role so which -- it well I think that's the ultimate question right this torture what were we able to.

Take you know wasn't the only thing that work but did what ever happened whether you want to call at first or not.

You know that the guy was in charge of that programs that we do that stuff that was in the movie we have waterboarding briefly in under doctors care for three individuals.

So you have to ask the question of how effective this that because -- it's not effective if you're one -- about it if it disaffected and it may have prevented attacks until they're very different.

You know I just wonder.

In -- seems to be the same kind of -- these techniques that.

Liberals were so fired up about during the Bush Administration right when Ben Vice President Cheney was talking about and it was the whole debate is water border.

Torture or -- it torture.

You know and now we have sort of you know the Hollywood delete if we have -- you know we have like that the liberal bastion of Hollywood filmmakers.

Who are making this movie now and sort of putting it out there is being very effective these techniques.

Well and let me just tell you you know I was and -- US Navy SEALs the guys who did the hunt for bin Laden they -- all water boarded.

So we have those kinds of techniques we don't call them torture we -- those kinds of -- thinks we do on our own military personnel to.

A quaint hammered a -- -- -- you know get them.

Used to what might happen were beta come under going to be arrested in person but officially US policy.

Really just under this president.

And under other present was we don't torture we do not first it is illegal.

Attorney general Mukasey and his confirmation hearings.

At the end of the Bush Administration said it's unconstitutional.

We do not do torture period.

This is a movie that's getting a lot of Oscar buzz the Oscar nominations are gonna come out.

On Thursday at this coming week so I think it could get even more attention.

If it picks up a couple of nominations the UN today and you saw what what did you think of that of the portion of the film and he didn't see the whole thing back what you saw.

-- first your part to suppose that torture part of that I talked to yeah I selected talked to you when it showed.

I'll tell you.

What my kids watch -- on an average movie or even see on crime show us.

It makes this stuff that's and zero dark thirty look like not that big a deal.
