Your -- super successful people like say Tiger Woods Bill Clinton Charlie Sheen.

Seem to get in trouble -- making disastrous decisions well our next guest says is because of their so called killer emotions can -- is the talent agent and the author of the book.

-- -- killer emotions and he joins us now.

To break all of this -- -- nice to see you pleasure to see both.

Why did you decide to take on this book -- this topic to me it's fascinating because I think we all wonder that we've gone through the the Tiger Woods experience the bill clay.

And experience.

What I counsel people every day for the last thirty years to make great life decisions.

And one of the things and I've -- time after time.

Is that when you left your toxic emotions cloud your best judgment whether it's a celebrity or just anyone.

You can make a self sabotaging.

Life choice so I wrote -- killer motions to help people.

Master their emotions use those energy charges from those very strong emotions.

To compel them to make positive decisions.

Not destructive ones.

I -- should mention that you are a well now on highly successful talent agent you represent some of the biggest names.

In TV news -- you know big egos.

Is this just the problem of high profile people or does everybody.

Let their toxic killer emotions get in the -- Oh my goodness everyone does it and I've helped people.

To stop smoking stop drinking stop cursing.

Changed -- eating habits simply because often times they get into an emotional funk and when they get into an emotional funk.

They want -- have a quick fix they want something to make them feel good so they grab the drink they grab the cigarette -- go back to the bad guy the bad girl.

Just to do something quickly but oftentimes it's counter to what it's really good for them let's walk through some of the -- you have in the book which.

Goes along with what you were just talking about lives never make decisions when you're overwhelmed with urges its very hard.

It is but it's really important that you don't make a decision when your town full of emotion or or.

-- -- Because.

You're going to make it clouded decision so what should you do just stop and just take a breather for a day a week and sometimes you -- the clock is ticking now wolf.

Take a breather for as long as you -- -- that you cooled down.

And you always want to know what you want to get from any interactions which you've got to do is think about what you really want in life.

What you would have thought about in hindsight had you made about this.

Because if you just go out of revenge -- -- -- -- -- got revenge of the outcome of that may be worse than what you're going into it absolutely.

And I think that leads the second point your book here always think about the consequence of your actions before you act.

Very important being consequence -- miss it.

I -- had David Petraeus had Tiger Woods had Kobe Bryant in eagle Colorado.

Thought about the -- consequences.

Of what would take place.

Should they have can we should they commit that act.

They probably would not have done it conversely though if you could think about the amazing consequences of making a great life choice.

Those energy charges not motivation can lead you to make a positive life choice you also say this is so important identify your own personal triggers obviously everybody's are different yes.

And what those are those in your very personal motivation and when I.

I discussed this link in your killer emotions because if you can -- can -- What you really want in life.

Very quickly I was counseling somebody to stop drinking and I found that he because he's gonna get soft who cancer.

And when I was able to identify that he wanted to be there for his autistic child when he wanted to not have his mother bury him.

When he wanted to be there for -- other children's wedding.

That's so broke broken out of his toxic scripting that he stopped drinking.

Tom Brady famously and maybe it's maybe he's forgotten now but of course an -- drafted in the sixth round and I use that.

I've -- handled it well I believe he did and that's a personal emotional trigger.

He was disrespected.

He was drafted in the sixth round I believe.

That disrespect that emotion those strong energy charges motivate him like no other to bring it every Sunday and keep winning.

To prove everybody wrong three Super -- yet very quickly say yet unidentified your gold and that means what you are we searching for -- reaching for right and as we talked about.

If you were overcome with emotions -- -- to step away and think about what your gold is and that is.

What will make my heart -- what do I really want and and also what your truth this.

Who you aspire to be the kind of person you aspire to be because if you make good decisions for yourself.

Oftentimes.

You'll feel good and if you feel good about who you wore a racist yourself esteem and with high self esteem.

You wind up making even better choices for yourself because you feel you're worthy of those choices you deserve them.

Excellent points -- -- great to see you it's great to be your own -- and yet let's put this up on the screen -- -- grabbing your killer emotions is the name of the book.

Ken great to see you think it's a pleasure to be here and thanks so much relatives think.
