Hi everyone I'm meteorologist -- -- -- -- in the fox extreme weather center with your forecast for the southwest.
And -- today we're going to be looking at much quieter weather across our area over the week and we actually had a storm system impact California producing some -- amounts of snow for the Sierras some good news for skiers.
Not good news for you when trying to do any traveling this sense send that storm system has starting to move.
It's his -- parts of California and actually into -- not really impacting too much of our area maybe -- isolated.
A couple of showers out across the parts of California but again a relatively -- -- And Los Angeles -- high temperatures today not too -- for January 70 degrees out there 63 for high temperature over in Phoenix and -- -- on the cool side.
Only 36 degrees solid city very cold.
25 degrees is as warm as you can get leader on today so there's a storm systems on -- eggs at a California pretty -- already drive for the most part across southern parts.
Of that state and as we head into next couple of days that storm system will continue push eastward and actually head into portions.
Other southern plains but not much of an impact before then across portions of the Rockies so.
Most of Arizona New Mexico expecting to see dry here as we head into your Tuesday and even into -- week.
On Wednesday there will be a couple of isolated showers here and there across northern parts.
-- California over the next couple of days is going to be associated with moisture that's actually impacting portions of the Pacific northwest.
