Theories -- meanwhile shut the government down Arizona Republican congress and that's -- says.

If that's what it takes -- just start cutting this spending then do it -- do it now.

Congress that I know what number on the media were a little shocked that that -- you are standing by that.

But you still stand by that explain.

-- -- absolutely.

I came to Washington this time.

To cut spending to balance -- budget I didn't come there to be a congressman again I came there to do a very specific job.

Used to -- -- liked their fight for the next generation to make sure we don't.

Pass those tax burdens -- -- them or or or paying the debt back out to them but it's not about future generations anymore it's about the guy either retires tomorrow.

And so frankly I believe we've got a very very tough job to do and it's going to take some tough -- He had after this latest bait and switch by how Pelosi and the president.

Where they said.

You know just give us these revenues these are tax increases and then will.

Roll over played dead while that's not what they're doing.

And -- less Republicans man up now -- show that we're willing to fight the fight and do it has to be done.

We're not going to balance a budget.

And just like -- -- Mac commercials either pay me now -- you -- -- a lot more later we've seen what's happened across the Atlantic.

We're not immune from that kind of thing I want to make sure.

That we take -- our problem now and so.

Well well -- it's just out and welcoming added that's the only way you can get bags and heads -- I see where you're coming from but do you mind being a -- it is you have.

On the left and even some in the within your own party congress -- -- say.

That's throwing grenades.

It's.

You know I I believe these are very very desperate times and I believe that we have to employ everything that we possibly can't it's not my first option.

I would hope that the president -- I'm not -- entertainers first option that is not it is McConnell never stops and a lot of prominent Republicans is that it's not their option.

You say it should date that -- decision -- It should be it should be on the table it should be an option we should do whatever it takes to make sure that we get this budget balance because.

American this is is is in the balance and frankly I came here to balance the budget as quickly as we possibly can't.

I still remembers -- you know you -- -- critters -- you led some of vinegar and -- -- you and whether people support your position or not you're one of the fuel.

Who's who's not afraid to stated and I get a sense or from a lot of your colleagues.

That they're running around with a tail between their legs and a -- around Chatham what's happened to Republicans.

You know some think if you don't stay up for something you'll fall for -- back and that's the -- don't want my colleague says to remember and understand.

I served in congress when Bill Clinton was president.

I was there for a government shut down I was there -- up for the impeachment of Bill Clinton I was there for welfare reform a whole host of different things.

And I want to tell you something I believe that if this president truly starts not just talking the talk but walking the walk.

We can actually get to a bipartisan solution we've got to fix social security and Medicare.

There -- a lot.

Of people that are going to be hurt very very badly if we don't draw the line in the sand now.

And fix social security and Medicare and get our country back on a path to fiscal health and I believe that we ought to be willing to do whatever it takes to be statesman.

-- -- stand up for this country and do what's right.

-- congress and I admire your guts and it was very good having you thank you government -- Thank you.
