You were diagnosed at eleven with autism I know was a struggle because.
You didn't know what was wrong with you up until that point right.
That is correct I belong it's time just really want to know what was done with me -- at.
When I was finally diagnosed I felt like it came to -- That went it went I got -- down to it really helped I found ways to help with that and now the pot of who I am and I feel blessed that I am able to diagnose.
I am able to define my -- as a matter of that it that night.
So tell us what.
Types of symptoms and signs that you have and how you cope with it.
I have you very mild.
Stem demos but I do stuff off.
Constant meltdowns if things get too -- ball.
I have -- problems understanding.
Just -- -- saying.
I take things very literally.
And what I have trouble communicating at times that I have tried my best -- -- come -- thank you cope with that.
A lot just by.
Pacing around this we'll -- five minutes pretty much is how I get a hold of myself and I'm able to function.
One of the ways that you also were able to communicate was that your mom wanted you to join the cheerleading team you didn't want to do that.
But it ended up being a good thing for you and also you joined drama and your talent will be a comedic act correct.
That is correct I did join cheerleading and -- -- if I did not like it.
But I did end up coming back and I ended up being the senior -- ship captain.
And it was a good experience I even got to tip the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade -- two years ago which was fantastic.
-- I did join the drama team.
And now you're able to just -- talent on the stage in front of millions of people on Saturday night.
You at one point thought you would never graduate from high school now you're gonna be a student in college.
Why should you be the next Miss America Saturday night.
I think I should be the next miss them out because I think the world needs to know that.
Even -- girl who has a few different -- and that was labeled an outcast at balls.
Hand is Miss America material and I think that's what's so great about Miss America it's becoming law accepting of.
