Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Mario Molina out from the -- extreme weather center with your forecast for the northwest.

And also portions of the northern plains and for today we're gonna start to see temperatures a little mild -- no been dealing with over the last couple of days.

Across places in the Pacific northwest and also across portions of the northern plains -- -- highs into the fifties today fifty to -- high temperature as well.

In this city of mass -- and over parts of the northern plains take -- -- -- Rapid City.

46 degrees -- -- high temperature very mild for January 46 story high over North Platte.

And even in Bismarck, North Dakota 36 degrees for high temperature out there.

We will have to deal with a little bit of snow across portions of Montana and even into Wyoming -- in a higher elevations.

You could be looking at some accumulations but the higher accumulations are going to be located.

Across parts of the Washington cascades.

That's we're talking about another additional flood of snow.

You're coming into the next few days on top of -- so you've already got an over the weekend out there's we could be looking at an avalanche danger specially as -- head into higher elevations be careful traveling.

Across the back country or even do any of those.

Mountain passes out they could be looking at some delays.

Lower elevations will be just dealing with up clean rain across places in Seattle down I five.

Into Portland still making for a bit of a messy commute out there as you head out to work and even -- head home from work.

Because we're not going to be dealing with this rain -- just during the early hours of today but even over the next several days some more snow.

More rain and stormy weather and eventually by Wednesday some of that moisture will make it as far south as portions of northern California and then some of that moisture will actually spill over parts.

-- northern Rockies and you will be dealing with areas of heavier snow across Idaho and also western portions of a -- a Wyoming.

Basically as we head into late Wednesday and also into an early Thursday so keep that in mind some -- traveling out here across portions of the Rockies.
