Movie zero dark thirty tells the story of the hunt for any killing of Osama bin Laden -- the movies facing some major backlash -- showing tough interrogation tactics.

Carried out by the CIA.

And bad news.

And blowing different.

-- and help him.

When he -- very cute.

Any questions.

We have plenty of questions like did that animators get.

Filmmakers get part of the story wrong -- right now is the guy who ran CIA's secret interrogation program directly.

Following 9/11 Jose Rodriguez has -- thanks for coming back to fox and for.

Good morning guys how -- you but we're doing okay.

You.

Feel that they got some stuff write some stuff wrong.

Then in the torture -- they may be enhanced interrogation stuff which was legal look like torture and -- got wrong didn't.

They -- wrong you know like take upset objection to it because it may have missed it this -- -- how.

We dealt with America's enemies.

Let me be clear.

We did not waterboarding anybody.

You know it was I mean we -- -- of people but it was all legal.

And that we did not torture anybody under the enhanced interrogation program that I -- so usability.

-- -- -- -- -- to shock.

And are not based on in reality.

Which is unbelievable because they pride themselves and how they want to the CIA within days of the killing.

And they got the real story but instead they're using scene scene in Abu Ghraib got nothing to do with the CIA.

Yeah that is correct that dot com are.

Scene was borrowed from probably about nothing to do with anything we did at the black -- well That's Hollywood does that.

But then again and people look at that they're gonna go all we heard it was torture that's torture.

Yet that is the greatest concern that I have that millions of people around the world are vulnerable to this movie.

And I -- -- think that the CI a involve itself with this kind of -- -- which is actually.

Very unfair.

But in your book hard measures you talk about the enhanced interrogation practices.

That led to getting information that stop future attacks and went to the capture.

Among the high ranking al-Qaeda members you do you stand by those tactics correct even though we don't do anymore.

I stand by them a 100%.

The bottom line as the enhanced interrogation program.

Not only allowed us to get -- lot and what -- allow voters to destroy the al-Qaeda organization that at practice.

For ten years we were added -- the enhanced interrogation program was a key factor.

Right -- and that's the headline rate there Jose a lot of people don't realize that the enhanced interrogation techniques that you used and it wasn't.

Don't water boarding.

You got some information -- waterboarding them you did but not on one guy and the guy's name is not out there -- -- use some sort of technique that was absolutely legal on this guy and it wade led the courier and that led to bin Laden.

There were only three guys that -- water boarded and you know they were.

-- terrorists.

The last one Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was 2003.

The rest of them -- was just a different different -- has interrogation techniques.

That were operated -- world -- -- sleep deprivation and things like that.

Right -- -- the probation and you know a slap in non Grata by the -- aren't.

They're all.

Out there and they have been -- cleared and released by the Obama administration so everybody can look them up.

I was able goes into detail about what you -- needed to and you don't run from -- you stand by it but you do think it's important to to bring up.

-- these enhanced interrogation practices -- something that was totally green lighted by the administration.

And have been -- I have and we're taped.

And you decided to destroy those not you but you guys decided to destroy those tapes so we don't know what -- was doing collegiate -- and it was doing why did you destroy the tapes.

I destroyed the tapes to protect the people who work for me and whose faces.

And I did -- these were -- on those tapes he had nothing to do with trying to hide anything because.

I think that most people do not know that there is a complete written record about what's on those tapes.

And that -- -- was actually.

Checked by the office of General Counsel and the office of the IG.

To make sure that the river -- record actually reflected what was on the -- so that was the reason.

So nobody's ever gonna see those tapes but they will see the movie that opens wide this weekend and so your message to America regarding the movie.

Is.

Is it don't believe the torture scenes because they did not happen but.

I'll focus on the fact that this was a ten year effort.

And that the agency was that the central or -- under the big focus of the effort.

And that this was a ten year marathon.

Man and not aid last -- that spring.

Or were -- precedent.

And thanks to a lot of the professionals at the CIA eventually they got -- man.

All right Jose Rodriguez we thank you very much progress -- and -- author of horrible measures which goes into detail about what was actually behind.
