Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Maria Molina from the fox extreme weather center with your forecast for the northwest.

And also portions of the northern plains and -- today we're going to be looking at temperatures that are well above what's average for this -- here.

Across places in northern Rockies and take a look at Montana -- you're actually looking at temperatures that are going to be very close.

To fifty degrees by this afternoon like in Billings 48 degrees for you.

As we head into the afternoon 43 over and is in line in the forties as well.

Is Salt Lake City this -- -- ambiance of our next approaching cold front so ahead of cold fronts intends to see those winds out of south.

Pumping up that warmer air to northern areas and outsourcing here across parts of the northern Rockies.

43 for you in Seattle 49 for -- high temperature in Portland.

And low fifties over in northern portions of California we already have some of that rain associate with their next cold front falling across Seattle.

Portland so you be doing any driving along I five out there could be a little tricky.

Higher elevations of the cascades also expecting to see significant snow -- from the storm system.

But some places -- expecting about a foot of snow he eventually this moisture will move eastward and -- packed portions of the northern Rockies.
