Hello the -- meteorologist Janice Dean taking a look at your temperatures across the southeast and the Mississippi River valley as well as parts of the southern plains.

In Dallas 48 in Kansas City 68 in Nashville is then -- -- Last 24 hours for Texas as we have as big storm system bringing in.
A lot of gulf moisture to Texas Louisiana and Mississippi up towards the Mississippi River valley the Ohio River valley.
And all of this moisture leading to the potential of flooding we've gotten over six to eight inches of rainfall.
In these areas and add that on 21 to four inches today we could get over a foot of rainfall in some of these areas so much needed rainfall unfortunately.
It's gonna cause the risk for flash flooding we could even see some severe weather today throughout the day from Texas through Louisiana and even Mississippi so just keep -- -- of the sky.
And keep -- your to your local weather forecast future radar will show that system.
The bulk of that moving up towards the north and the east that -- -- -- also watch this fronts this frontal system that's kind of stall out over the weekend.
That could bring some moisture across the region so again just keep that in mind.
Much -- the area is going to be above average temperatures but again we're gonna see the potential for some rain showers in your forecast as we head into the weekend have yourself a great day.
