Sunday award season continues in Hollywood with the Golden Globes.
This year's ceremony will be hosted by comedians Tina Fey and Amy Poehler who were also both nominated for awards themselves.
Thursday senior Chris Brown is set to attend a progress report hearing on -- five year probation sentence.
His probation started back in 2009 after pleading guilty to a felony assault charge for attacking Rihanna.
Also Thursday vice president Joseph Biden is slated to speak at the winter meeting of the US conference of mayors he's expected to address the controversial issue of gun control.
More than 270 mayors from across the country are expected to attend.
