Good morning doctor I'm Martha good to see links.

What are we knew about it and what about these vaccines now how how how many are out there and there are people who don't have it likely to get a much of that yet again I want.

Couple points first of all I think the vaccine is pretty effective even 62% which is a study they do in the middle of the flu season which no other country does they look at they asked people.

Did it help you.

I think it really works even better than 62% for severe cases -- have it and you get the flu you're less likely to get really severely -- so it's a really good thing to have.

Know what the Centers for Disease Control does every year as they look at what the year before.

Last year about 48% of Americans that should take the shot which was about a 128.

Million actually took -- so that's how.

Com we have a 135 million doses this year they predict but the last few years -- -- Martha so people didn't take the shot.

Now here we are on television saying go take your shot and we're using -- there we using fear to motivate people.

How can people find a shot if they're having trouble well.

Here's -- here's what I wanted to say for sure it even though we're having a shortage some distributors still -- some doctors still haven't like myself some pharmacies still have it.

You gotta be creative inventive you gotta make some phone calls your own doctor may not have it but another doctor might a clinic might.

You have to call a pharmacy chain and say what about another pharmacy do they haven't you gotta be willing to travel.

I was looking for anti viral drugs over the weekend I went out on Long Island to find them so it it -- get in New York City they didn't have and so.

You have to be -- this is the week to do it because I have a feeling after this week there's really going to be a severe shortage right.

I just really quack and a couple of sort of -- things you can -- to build your immune system that you like natural things that you -- you know what I and a wealth.

First of all you can sleep at night you can exercise properly I'm a big believer that you can fight off infections by being healthy around that period of time.

I've also done a lot of Reading about vitamin.

And if he gets sick -- it's -- sick with the flu or cold it helps you get better faster.

There's also look at a couple of other things like ginseng -- An -- guarantee that have been studied over the last few years and seemed to be able to help you get better from the flu not as good as Tamiflu if you're really sick right.

You know what they're -- on that yeah thank you so much stock had done -- going to be checking in with ten a regular basis.

In the coming days being -- by the flu shot out there if you if you work and got a -- the message here thank you got the -- -- season ends this.
