Hi everyone I'm meteorologist -- -- -- from the fox -- weather center with your forecast for the southwest.

And it's been -- frigid weekend across the southwest and guess what that -- Ares here yet again to kick off the work week thirteen degrees.

-- -- high temperature over in Denver twelve degrees for you in Salt Lake City some of these temperatures.

Are more than thirty degrees below what's normal for this comedy of the year or so yes it is -- are supposed to be cold out here it's January but some of these temperatures are limited too cold to what we're used in seventeen for you over and -- asked.

And upper fifties over in Los Angeles and San -- not -- -- comparisons -- portions of Iraqis across parts of Southern California but it's still unusual and during the morning hours you are looking at temperatures hovering right around -- freezing mark.

Or even below freezing so there are a number of freeze warnings in effect across southern parts.

At Arizona southern Nevada and also across portions of southern California's so again it's -- the morning hours he could be looking at some damage to crops.

If you do have an outdoors thorny plants.

Otherwise as far as precipitation -- not much going on without across the Rockies Nevada or California right now we're looking -- relatively wet weather in terms of precipitation but there is some chance for some snow.

Isolated snow showers across northern portions of New -- later on today.

Otherwise as -- -- the next couple of days California and Nevada and most of the Rockies.

Remaining relatively quiet here to kick off the work week so looking pretty good the exception of course is a cold the temperatures should be moderating.

As well across Southern California and parts the southwest.
