Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Maria Molina -- the fox -- weather center with your forecast for the northwest.

And also portions of the northern plains and it has been a very cold weekend -- -- -- area temperatures well below what's normal.

Even for winter time even for the month of January apps here up to thirty degrees below what's normal.

Salt Lake City for -- only twelve degrees -- high temperature in nineteen in Billings thirteen in Casper.

And this far North Dakota warming up -- just three degrees as we head into this afternoon upper thirties for Seattle and Portland in the fifties across portions of northern California.

As far as precipitation goes not much in the way of that we're looking at noticeably quiet weather we -- have a couple of snow showers here and there across northern portions.

The state of Idaho an extreme western parts of Montana but this moisture will continue to slowly split east where now much accumulation with this -- -- It's an umpire Chris clipper systems those sticking out from can -- doesn't have a lot of moisture with it.

And eventually as we head into your Tuesday and Wednesday it'll be swinging -- portions of the northern plains but again.

Not much moisture so not really expecting the storm to be a big snow maker media -- producer and it's gonna keep things radical data -- area so we're expecting that cool air to remain in place.

Across portions of the northern plains not going away anytime soon.

Otherwise force in the Seattle Portland an awesome -- and -- Medford you're enjoying relatively quiet weather in terms of precipitation is rather chilly side.

But we're actually expecting things remain dry as -- had even into the next couple of days so engine with dry weather why he got -- out there in Seattle and Portland.
