Welcome back to on the -- that foxnews.com live I'm -- -- the -- the flu -- pretty severe across the country right now -- take a look at this -- 47.

States -- and 47.

Of the of these United States suffering.

What is deemed to be a widespread.

Few -- flu outbreak.

Mom and dad there's been a lot of talk that people need to get that shot and need to get it now I have not had mine on the very naughty Blanton of that one actually.

But what do you do we get it but if you're in this situation.

You wanna get the flu shot you were in -- way he going get it and it's going to be easy or also.

If you have any sort of medical emergency you -- -- no way you can go and get quick treatment that's.

Not very easy as anybody who's been to any on knows well this company.

He -- texting.

Believes they may have a solution will help us all costs Blanco is.

Business development executive with the likewise there hasn't -- very much for having me you have to wait delighted to have you here explain to us.

I want -- texting is and how it would work how it would benefit.

The average citizen who need some medical help.

Well many studies have been done that indicate that all things being equal the one thing that customers or patients want to avoid is a long wait at an emergency room -- for non critical on emergency.

So the concept of the art taxing is if you can text ahead of time to a participating hospital and learned.

How how long the -- is you can make an informed decision as to which area you wanna go through which -- are you wanna go to assuming that there are several options in your area.

This also applies urgent care centers so a lot of the hospitals have been deploying urgent care centers and remote parts of the community.

So instead of going to the are you can actually go to an urgent care center for non critical emergencies.

Mark so would we what we got a couple of good graphics to show how this will -- -- somebody would would time -- into that.

To that text on that phone something like and CH for Miami's Children's Hospital.

And then they correct get a links to back all of -- -- facilities or.

Correct in the case of Miami children's Cincinnati's children and several of the children's hospitals our customers.

They're trying to reduce the traffic that's going to the emergency rooms a lot of time these emergency rooms -- children's hospitals are trauma level emergency rooms.

So when you go there with a non traumatic event you're gonna wait very long time so -- deployed these urgent care centers and other parts of the community.

So that you can go to those things for non critical emergencies in the case of Miami children's.

If you -- the the letters and CH and you text that to four ER 411 which is our code.

You will get back the wait time make each and emergency care centers and you often get a phone number and a link to their side in case you -- to directions to get there.

That's very interesting in the -- what how widespread.

-- -- texting right now Collins.

Well our original concept was is that all about seven years ago have been deployed in over 230 hospitals.

So it's pretty spread out you know it's pretty well deployed and it's pretty much something that's being accepted we have a customer for instance in Alabama Baptist health systems.

They're averaging close to 2000 -- per month since they deployed the service while so obviously there's a huge customer take up right -- who's paying for it.

But actually the hospitals pay for it's a pretext for the -- for the patient other prospective patient.

Assuming you know there's there's data charges or anything associated with the carry that obviously belongs to the the person texting but the actual -- is actually -- -- the community.

And -- that -- did it for something like the flu outbreak in this make a difference or is this really only when you're trying to deal with emergency -- Well you know it's like everything else it if you -- -- take your child to get a flu shot and you know what the wait times -- the different urgent care centers obviously I don't I would not recommend or anybody should go to an emergency room for flu shot.

But if you are if you are and in the disposition to give your child who shot.

And the last thing you want to do spend an hour to waiting if you -- ahead of time and know that -- fifteen minutes that.

Doral urgent care center which is near where I'm at right now then you might have -- -- taken and get it done at that point you I'm so obviously I.

So I don't I think the application I think the applications a little bit more than that for instance you know broken -- small cuts.

You know that ultimately the prospective patient has to make a determination of how critical that particular emergencies.

And if so are you planning on expanding.

-- did the system.

We're planning to expand the services associated with the system so for instance a mobile app but it is something that's -- in the works.

That type of line extension is we're going with us all right.

I think it's a great -- system sounds like great idea and how can not how can somebody find out about this if they wanna check whether hospitals in their area use this system.

The best thing is to contact your hospital because obviously not all hospitals are participating and according to the hospital that that is participating there we'll have a designated code that you will only know from the hospital gives it to you.

And if they participate -- -- -- zip code it'll be based on as it goes of the hospitals and included in their particular service there all right and you have a website -- texting dot com.

That's correct WW WW WW ER texting dot com all right cost Blanco is business development executive with the thanks for sharing this business idea with a -- it seems a very small thing over every consumer and the hospitals of Coles thanks Alison thank.

Think you're much up and take -- --
