Another big battle on Capitol Hill of course the gun control debate.
As we told you earlier vice president Joseph Biden will announce his task force regulations.
But this we're hearing from one congressman who has a personal connection to this battle and that man Ron barber.
He was an -- Gabby Giffords and he himself was shot twice during the Tucson shooting.
He has since won the seat held by his former boss.
But despite the mash -- being represented Barbour says he still supports the Second Amendment.
I feel very strongly that the Second Amendment should be protected and the Supreme Court has ruled -- there's no question.
That is -- right that real Americans have to bear arms.
Have a -- -- -- -- But the issue both the magazines which were used in the shooting in Tucson in January of 2011.
That's one that really I think we need to take a hard look at.
The shooter in our case -- thirty bullets.
In the magazine -- more in the chamber plus 45 seconds nineteen people were down six or we'll kill.
-- my -- shot -- and I saw my colleague die by my side and judge ruled on either side.
Myself being shot twice so for me that capacity -- -- key to the extent of the disaster that take.
Can you tell from what I've heard it on the shooter there.
Had many of these thirty round magazines on his body he obviously include a lot of them because we know that the children slaughtered and it helps to.
So I don't want to see anybody's country but I do think if we could reduce the capacity as vaccines because it is at least that magnitude of.
Problem.
Barbour says another area of focus needs to be on mental health and providing care to those in need.
