Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Maria Molina from the fox watching weather center with your forecast for the southeast.
And we continue to deal with their stalled for about Andrea here across the southeast anywhere -- this is something to talk about very warm temperatures.
That over in -- 79 degrees Fahrenheit temperature today 83.
-- in Orlando but on the backside of the system much cooler 38 degrees for a high in -- 39 over in Jackson Mississippi so there's a very sharp -- -- temperatures at this front it's a very strong French.
And has been producing a lot of heavy rain here over the last couple of -- across places in Louisiana and Mississippi -- me.
And even up into portions of the mid Atlantic and unfortunately is gonna remain saw -- here.
Over the next several days so we're still expecting a couple more inches of rainfall across places like Tennessee and into parts of North Carolina -- -- could be seen.
Some isolated flooding as a concern otherwise as we -- further west today it will be another cold day across portions of the planes.
39 for you in Kansas City 3935.
For -- in Kansas City 39 over in Tulsa and low forties in the city of Dallas and we actually had to deal with some snow this morning across city of Dallas.
About an inch of -- on the ground most areas that releasing that much.
But it wasn't enough to produce some issues on the roadways slippery traveling conditions out there for early today should be drying out as we head into later on.
This afternoon otherwise -- rain continuing in place from parts of Louisiana and through the mid Atlantic for today.
But on the northern side -- -- summer temperatures are cold enough.
We're actually seeing freezing rain in some ice accumulation across northern portions of Louisiana -- to Mississippi.
And also western Tennessee there is an ice storm warning in effect out -- through this evening.
Because we could be looking at ice accumulations as high as a half an inch that -- -- to bring power lines down to bring trees down.
And reduce travel issues on the roadways of course so please be careful out here and again that's northern parts of Louisiana.
Up into western portions of Tennessee -- including eastern portions of Arkansas.
And western parts of the -- of Mississippi so again I situation -- here.
Otherwise for the rest of you just rain across parts of Mississippi Alabama.
He eventually into the mid Atlantic and northeast we deal with some -- -- by Thursday this system continues to push eastward.
And you're gonna be looking up most of the rain further off towards -- EC we drying things out -- me.
In places like Mississippi Tennessee where you've been dealing with that rainfall over the last couple of these are drying trend coming up.
