While.

Almost four points to the day after shooting in Connecticut another -- in Saint Louis although of this.

A lot less disastrous a lot less scary.

But still scary enough and all of that -- -- or involving not only a shooter.

But apparently a Saint Louis school administrator.

-- -- have a lot more details on this as well.

As a chat with Roy Blunt of Missouri junior senator in just -- second.

But all of this occurs on the eve of the president's all out assault on assault weapons.

And it according to many of his critics taking executive actions.

To do something sees it on events like this that are.

Intrinsically unconstitutional.

Among them crystal Wright who joins me now crystal what is your fear if you -- -- events like this that we can pound them.

-- Executive orders what.

Well -- first of all I I hate to hear about any massive shooting like this and I think it really -- nation needs to come together and talk about the more systematic problems within our society that are causing these young men to kill like this the back to the president's executive order we know.

That the president is threatening to issue nineteen executive orders.

Around the Second Amendment and gun control.

And I think that when you have policies of this magnitude where you have Democrats who believe in the Second Amendment.

Where you have Republicans emotions are running high.

We the American people deserve a public hearings -- we can't have the president saying.

I don't want to work with congress on something like that as really -- emotionally charged as gun control.

I want to bypass congress and the American people and do what I think is best and that's not the American way.

We saw the president do this -- With immigration right and the DREAM Act so right afford -- campaign was over.

He said I'm gonna grant through executive order amnesty to about a million illegal immigrant.

Kids who came here if if if they were under 31 they could stay in the country if they had a job.

Or going to college.

I just think this is there this is not what our founding fathers intended for executive order.

It's very troubling and again and I'm very saddened to hear about.

This shooting but I think we have to come together as a nation.

In a calm rational way and talk about what what the research says and really why young men are killing.

And you go beyond does this particular incident -- said it is is of resident.

-- shows a propensity for taking.

Action on his own and bypassing congress and of -- well even getting when it comes to issues like but that's an old debt ceiling.

-- you please let congress is being arrested don't Democrats -- have.

Well the Democrats are urging the president to use executive order to say congress I don't need you to raise the debt ceiling I'm gonna do it on my around this is again.

I want everybody to know that -- executive order.

You know he's not the first president he won't be the last u.'s executive or Ryan Franklin Roosevelt passed 3700.

Executive orders.

But again -- -- and Clinton and Reagan did about over 30350.

-- right but I'm talking about policy issues.

Of significant magnitude.

That need to have a pull -- a full.

Public bedding and the American people need to be engaged in the process we need hearings on the matter on gun control specifically.

And we really need to talk about mental health and how we as a society aren't embracing people with mental health issues all right that is really you know it's a bigger conversation -- Gristle and thank you for.

You indulge in on this breaking news and being on top yeah.
