Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Mario Molina in the fox extreme weather center with your forecast for the northern plains.
And also portions of the northwest at any -- in the northern plains I don't have to bit -- news for you we do actually have.
We'll today are relatively not too bad day for January Sanders like in Rapid City you're talk about highs into the forties the -- for you and North Platte.
But we do have an approaching Arctic front that's going to be bringing in some very cold air from Canada.
Into the northern plains and you're going to be feeling very cold over the next several days can possibly a little bit here in there but.
We're talking hot temperatures that will be below zero even during the afternoon hours for some of these that's something a -- looking forward to.
Otherwise in Montana 46 degrees Fahrenheit temperature Billings not too bad forties why spread across Seattle down I five into Portland and even into the sea of Medford.
As far as rainfall goes or any snow -- not much of that across parts of Washington or or game you're still dealing with that ongoing battle fog.
In some of those areas across portions of the Pacific northwest a drive carefully on some of the lower elevations.
Otherwise across northern plains we had some snow showers -- deal is still have some lingering ones across portions of North Dakota but not too -- in terms of accumulation.
And that's -- -- the next several days.
Relatively quiet across both the Pacific northwest and also the northern plains but again we do have an approaching Arctic front that could produce a couple of snow showers he can see right there.
As -- -- similar late Thursday and also into very early Friday morning across parts of the Dakotas and also into Minnesota but.
Those clipper systems from Canada and don't have a lot of moisture and really just don't produce a whole lot of snow so expect -- really be a blockbuster storm any -- but the cold air behind it.
Will be bringing in some impacts across northern plains.
