Hello there I'm meteorologist Janice Dean taking a look at your temperatures across the Great Lakes in the northeast some cold air.
Is headed our way especially into next week some of the coldest air of the season is on its way.
42 in Boston as -- daytime high 41 in New York.
46 in DC 35 in Pittsburgh 33 in Detroit.
Eleven in Marquette eighteen in Minneapolis and we have some cold air that's gonna continue to sink southward.
As a storm system comes up from the south could bring.
A few slushy inches to areas around the DC area satellite radar imagery you're seeing some of that moisture working its way up into the region.
A little too warm for snow but again as the day progresses in the temperatures drop.
All of this moisture is going to turn over -- snow we could get several inches.
Up to a foot of snow.
Across the appellation -- let's take a look at your future radar as we go further out in time as you can see -- Friday things clear up Saturday just looking at some lake effect snow.
But again as we go throughout the date -- the temperatures start to drop along the mid Atlantic just south of DC is where we're going to see.
The highest snow accumulations.
Have yourself a great day.
