House Republicans are today holding a meeting that could prove critical to the debt and spending crises in Washington.

As they brainstorm ideas and how to get the nation's finances in order.

We're hearing that one proposal they are considering calls for a delay in the implementation of Obama care.

In exchange for raising the debt ceiling really.

Chris -- -- -- need to know politics editor and host of power -- Fox News dot -- so.

It's like you know it's like pickup ball like they all get together -- these house Republicans and that is that is there who are we what -- we stand for and how we get a handle this.

You know.

This divided government in Washington -- -- go forward basis and and is this one of the top ideas we'll say we'll raise the debt ceiling.

If you delay implementation of -- And we -- -- ball in the nicest sense of the word.

The.

That washing the windows behind you just -- our viewers aren't going to be wondering what the heck those big groups are.

It in whatever city is a message about you.

Some that maybe some Republicans are trying to escape I don't know what it is about the the reality is -- -- a bad position and they don't have a lot of good options and you have to be creative.

When you don't have good -- that's just the deal.

And so yes something like.

Will should extend the debt ceiling for as long as you're willing to hold obamacare and advance the president's not gonna go for that but here's what they -- They have to have something on offer because they got creamed the last time on the tax issue because it'd have anything on offer they had no.

Chips in the game they had -- many months before an extension of all tax rates.

But they didn't have anything -- they weren't passing anything they were just sitting around having the table.

They weren't saying this is what we have so now it's up to John Boehner and his team to coax out of this conference who is very skeptical and because of the deal he did.

On the tax rates a great day there and they look at him askance.

And he's got to say to them okay what he wanted to what's -- -- -- you -- the thing about Obama care the president's health care law you'll hear.

Other things that might include.

Giving the president gets in -- debt ceiling increase until the end of his term.

If he's willing to agree to big changes in entitlement programs but they got to say something.

Then they have a -- have a game plan because we saw with when they were doing the fiscal cliff negotiations prior to the end of the year they were divided.

And and you know Boehner couldn't sort of corral.

His house Republicans to to be on the same page and so now he he's trying to do that and to get reelected as speaker he said everybody out -- a listening you I'll be your voice.

So now the question is Chris whether you think that these house Republicans can speak as one and can find.

You know there one mission you know who know who you are what you stand for -- what you know my parents is to say yes it's my kids who -- when he stamp for it seems that they're trying to figure that out.

Well Boehner is not going to be -- rallying anybody he's gonna go from being a cowboy trying to round them up.

To being like the announcer edit horse race he's -- go into he's saying what's happening is they're running along because of what I had -- -- Exactly -- that play.

That here he's gonna say OK what do you guys want to do tell me what you wanna do.

-- you wanna have the president's health was held in abeyance five won't throw that out there let's vote on something what's what do you guys want to do.

It's because he's got to let them re establish the feeling that he is speaking for them not to that.

So he's got to do that and then once they decide what they wanna do -- -- got to start with this debt thing because if the president comes and starts.

Firing rockets at them before they've launched -- think they're not going to be a good position once they tell Boehner wants the members have been what they wanna do then he's got to go about -- That's the -- -- about rebuilding trust are they gonna do the old exercise for the arms out -- fall back and I that this is definitely -- cat seeing.

They have they have a blind guy who who who climbed -- -- Everest is gonna speak to them.

Ideas like.

Climb any mountain.

I think they're I think they may be inviting some unflattering.

Leadership analogies here about yes I am -- the idea is.

I get everybody like just hug it out -- just get everybody together.

God I just -- Right up the valley times bigger -- I'm -- aiding and you see all I was waiting that's okay Chris thank you.
