What we received word late last night that eight average Americans are being tapped as citizen co chairs of the president's upcoming inauguration.

We're told that the group -- created to highlight the president's first term accomplishments.

By giving examples of lives that were improved by Barack Obama's actions.

It includes an auto worker who got called back to work after the auto industry bailout a patient who says he might have not not -- -- eligible help her for health insurance.

And a single mom who was able to send her son to college after receiving pell grants.

And now Juan Williams -- Fox News political analyst at Ben Ferguson with the icon radio network and host Ben Ferguson show hi guys so.

I think he's -- -- of heat for this because you know people are saying.

It's a little self congratulatory.

It's not typically done that and it's a little look at all the people I've helps.

You know good for me but is there anything inappropriate about that one.

Now it's his inauguration and I think that you know I remember back there covering Ronald Reagan I mean he introduced the idea of bringing people into the balcony when he was giving the state of the union to illustrate.

The points that he is trying to make the -- legislative agenda you've set for himself and I think this is a lot like this and I've also reminded of the criticism that.

Attracted the president -- yesterday when he had those young people those children.

At the ceremony for that -- signing that gun is executive orders on gun control.

But the idea I think is as I understand it from the White House to exhibit.

Core values that attached to this administration so this is the president saying this is who I am I stand for someone who didn't have health care before I stand for.

A gay person who wants to stay in the military I -- veterans who served and now deserve a job and our country so I mean that's all upbeat stuff to my mind it.

Walk walk from one there's also people in their -- -- they're gone.

You got a guy that got an over inflated salary and we lost money bailing out an auto company you've got another guy that's.

Gonna get some tax breaks because he picked the right sector that Barack Obama shows to put money into with.

Green and alternative energy I mean if if the president wants to have people come to Washington DCM praise him and that's what he's doing he's sane American be able.

Look how grand my ideas -- look at these people who would not have -- -- would accomplish anything in life -- wasn't for my government.

And my presidency.

Coming together to save them she would have that it can't or he would still be unemployed and he wouldn't have any wind power mean it if that's not a -- -- -- -- our -- the front the president that haven't come -- -- how great years I mean what I also on the inauguration day.

Literally telling the American people you can't accomplish anything without the great Barack Obama giving you something that he thinks you need come on now.

Does it then that likely end of that in narrative that we heard about him before one.

Know how I was.

I was taken by -- approach here.

Because I thought it was over the top.

I mean the idea that government helps people at the government -- the people by the people for the people in the idea that government actually helps people I think we should be saluting that I don't have any problem with that.

I don't think that these folks Ben would think in line with what you just said that they wouldn't accomplished anything in life without Barack Obama.

I think they would be offended by and I think to the country what they're saying is.

You know in some situations like the woman who had the brain tumor and who then got health care coverage.

That was a positive and she sees that as something that benefits all the American people and everybody who put cherishes life.

And want it if you would've used just her as an example and said there's a woman here today that we did a great thing in health care.

I probably would be a little bit more on board -- it.

But when you bring up eight sectors of how brilliant you are and then you parade -- from the American people acting as if they wouldn't have done this without his pilot season his presidency I mean I went to college and there -- some grants I got in bracket.

And do that.

Forming and I also got fired once I found other jobs that are being out of work for a year and -- sitting there waiting man I sure hope Barack Obama gets me my job back in the year.

That the pell grant writing about President Obama gets an increase funding for pell grants but I and I had a program in college I sure Baghdad it is -- -- His his point it may -- one you know the president.

Is he taking too much credit for adding he got in trouble on about how long that is was within the past year.

For altering the bios on the web site for the White House that he went into president Reagan's bio is like.

Just like me you know what exactly that it was -- all these former president's accomplishments to his own.

And -- people -- -- -- mess with the with the bios of the people who preceded you in office.

And said it was.

Narcissistic that where that -- just -- and so is this does he risk you know the same accusation.

I think after the fact -- politicians everyday I think they're narcissistic but I don't know that I would -- we think that is -- I voted for you.

Is that a lot of -- -- -- in the town but.

The idea that in politics today that you make an illustration and it's in this case personification.

Human beings who stand.

-- your values -- look you may not like his values you may not like him but there's no question he's saying this is who I am and I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

Now here you -- -- in Racine and taking the oath of office first time around and this is going to be interesting because when he goes to take the office this next time around it will technically I get to it he's gonna do it for -- he will be inaugurated four times.

Number one was when he tried to take it.

In -- number two was after he.

The Chief Justice John Roberts messed up the oath and then he messed up the open response -- take a second time privately.

Now had taken a third time on Sunday which is the date the constitution says he has to do it.

And I'll take -- a fourth time.

For the pomp and circumstance yet that on Monday that you can anybody tell me why we have to just do it on -- why we have that Sunday and Monday.

Also he can it's it's so he can go and on the White House bio agents say I was inaugurated -- I got my ER yeah that's -- -- -- yeah.

Better than us.

Now nobody is the equal about the opera like what make -- that.

-- -- Really the only guy -- there or at times but no it's the law may -- if he has to do it on yeah.

I have to do the Monday saying he has to do the -- don't -- he has to do this they think that that's in private because.

No the that they the event at at the capitol is on Monday not a what I why can't we just have the event of the capital on Sunday.

I'm ready.

To agree and I never had -- I don't know I kind of got me this question out before Brett and I are echoing -- our coverage but which is on Sunday Monday but before -- let -- go out.

-- -- take you back hope -- is watching to 2008.

I was on the mall.

At Barack Obama is the first -- -- -- freezing.

And keep it's like New Year's Eve in times where people go -- their hours and hours in advance to await the big moment I mean it's history in the making -- up up until inauguration what you back the candidate not -- It's -- American history.

So.

Here's a fun moments from my experience on the mall where -- ago and -- But people are ready they came prepare they have layers they have -- white -- on you quickly before before I let you -- out.

Meet Tonya she's from Maryland hello right now I have to show you what she's wearing -- look -- Tonya has prepared for her day on the National Mall Tonya let's CDs layers.

And I have hand warmer -- The labs and -- it.

I have body warmer but.

I also have my food I'm very prepared.

The -- don't don't -- going to -- you know.

Not much about us not like us.

To -- in their -- me and that later I had my a lot of ice.

And there.

-- I have my camera and this -- yeah.

I have a camera and I'm like Obama exactly she -- nothing was gonna stop her from being here is that right no way.

A backpack a fat -- have a pop up.

He -- He synagogues game without lady with the avalanche beat yeah.

That's friend.

Be prepared I hear she's out there right now waiting for -- until -- technically three for our guys thanks for being here.

Take care things we'll --
