The movies it's Friday it's the afternoon you know what that means we had talked to -- actually be right now rotten tomatoes he's all queued up in Los Angeles.
And we welcome you on this very special edition -- fox or 11.
To discuss some of these movies the most buzzed about films.
Coming out and also about the movies that are coming out in general this weekend.
So Matt -- and we're also going to be talking with Justin Craig.
Foxnews.com who's here with us on set up about that very -- so we're -- both of you want to start with you -- rotten tomatoes and talk to you about.
What are you looking for for the movies coming out at Sundance there's so many to get to as we were discussing over a hundred films I think.
How do you hone in on what the top ones -- do we know.
You know it's really tough the ones in competition.
You know you really don't know until you're about halfway through the fast -- -- you start here and other people on the buses.
And other screenings buzzing about oh have you seen this -- only seen that movie you really search -- -- so when that second week in a fast when you really start to try it.
-- stuff but you know there's a couple movies that have premieres there what happens this is you see movies get premiered there that are in competition.
But they get shown to an audience for the first time with the expectation that they are gonna open -- probably the biggest one is going to be before midnight.
Which is the latest one with Ethan Hawke and Julie -- Those are movies that both made their debut at Sundance really popular.
I had this is the latest version I think people are really excited about the long running relationship.
Between these two characters as they've gotten older I think that's probably one of the ones to really look forward to.
-- it did does that movie have enough legs.
So to speak -- mean we've we've watched before sunrise and before sunset is there enough material to keep going for before midnight.
I think style I think -- you know it's.
The what they've got -- Smart about doing in making these -- is that they make them so far apart that.
You know it's almost like a fictional version of the -- up documentary franchise and that you could revisit these characters.
Who have this very intense relationship for a brief period of time.
You know and and come back to them seven or eight years apart and and see where they are in their lives and I think that this movie will definitely -- place there's definitely a core fan base.
To those first 2000 I think I think -- latest what will definitely find an audience.
And Lovelace is getting a lot of buzz and we've been hearing about this in the casting about this for a long time quickly give us -- you know.
As synopsis of the of this -- get why people care so much that.
This is the story of Linda Lovelace who is the porn star who was in the movie deep throat.
And originally this was at one point they were considering casting Lindsay -- at Dallas Stars Amanda -- freed.
It gets its premiere at Sundance this is probably an audience will be very receptive to this -- -- you know Lovelace had a very controversial career she later in life recanted the fact that she participated willingly and that -- And in any pornographic -- -- she made.
But this should be an interesting look at kind of how those movies went down.
And I think a fantasy -- gonna turn in a really good performance here she's a really great actress.
That she does really well what she's doing edgy material like this as we saw when she was in the movie Chloe a -- -- back.

Didn't Don Johnson diction are and jobs and want to talk about those two and stoker's well because these are things these are the most buzzed films at Sundance right.
Yeah we were talking about -- How Sundance is becoming more mainstream and we're seeing more A list actors showing up.
Well jobs is the centerpiece film Sundance this year and it's about the buyer is a biopic about Steve Jobs in the creation apple.
And it stars Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs and that certainly turned heads when he when it was announced that -- be playing Steve Jobs because.
Steve Jobs such a dynamic characters -- it's going to be such a dramatic role but Ashton Kutcher is such -- lightweight actor if you will.
Things from honked and -- -- Two and a Half Men now so this is something very different for him so we'll see how this this film does.
-- and in this counts as an independent film yeah I can't.
In some ways and some points and and it's.
Not -- -- the southern wild.
Well she's right I'm a huge fan of Joseph Gordon-Levitt I love him as an actor and I understand he has written a movie directed it and -- -- -- -- -- -- BO.
Yet done Johns addiction is his directorial debut he wrote it and he's starring in and he had a great year last year with bloopers and Dark Knight rises in Lincoln.
So he's starting off 2013 really well and what Don -- addiction is.
Is a modern telling of Don Juan and Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays a young man who object defies everything including women.
And he realizes he just can't hold down a steady relationship because he's addicted to porn.
So.
He goes on this quirky adventure to try to find.
A woman who -- can have a a real meaningful relationship with -- he needs to women Julianne Moore and Scarlett Johansson who helped him find.
Himself pretty much.
And -- of Scarlett Johansson Julianne Moore again talking about big movies are absolutely in these independent films -- so when this does come out and I guess we haven't really.
Have heard anything about it because again Sundance film festivals where they screen right movies and so when we start hearing what people think about.
-- -- as this festival goes on you're gonna start.
There is always coming -- on the very -- things will get narrowed down and whittled the way people just be talking about certain things over and over and over again.
And then don't.
Hopefully find distributors and then wide releases and then.
Like last year beasts of the southern wild came out of Sundance Film Festival my -- nominated for best picture.
Right end and what -- this hasn't you know Kidman Matthew -- Jack Weaver adjournment but.
Well -- yes tell us about -- Okay stoker looks really really -- its stars Nicole Kidman and me and -- -- And it's about a young girl her father is killed and then her uncle moves in with her and her mother.
And he is not -- -- what he seems at first he's a little creepy.
But instead of becoming afraid of her uncle.
The young girl becomes.
Infatuated with him in obsessed with him.
And starts to -- in his.
-- Nighttime activities.
