I watch me Obama -- solemnly swear I Barack Hussein Obama do solemnly swear.
That I will execute the office of president of the United States faithfully.
Execute.
-- faithfully the president the office of president and no I just -- the United States period.
Cats so awkward remember the I was there it was like that's happening.
I -- to know but but the feel uncomfortable.
All.
It was a little snap -- by Chief Justice John Roberts and then by President Obama was understandably confused.
But during the oath of office Chief Justice don't try to memorize it just read it that you'll get a hold it against you.
They wound up having to do it again I read you the next day.
Just in case the -- was an official and he wasn't really our president.
They just want to make sure they crossed all the -- Interestingly enough they will also have to do the -- twice this time around that's because the president's term ends on Sunday when inaugural ceremonies.
Historically did not take place candidate pomp and circumstance I don't know if you go by history -- -- now -- having to.
So it'll make his second tour official on Sunday and then we'll have the big pomp and circumstance swearing in on Monday at the capitol -- the president gets for swearing end.
And as he gets ready to start his second term we are seeing an eye opening new poll that finds that more than a third of the country.
Believes.
The president may be hiding something about his background or early life.
The what does that say about our faith in governments not to mention the media.
Marjorie Clinton as a former consultant to be about a campaign at a principal at -- consulting and Tucker Carlson is editor in chief of the daily caller from members there was like.
And group the open is like the what they did she just is hadn't did.
And then report it help or Barack Obama because he's just try to repeat insurers nervous and it -- a bigger than the summer out.
What does it mean Tucker I -- 30%.
Of the country believes Barack Obama is hiding 36.
Police he's hiding something about his background in early life and it's not all right Republicans.
-- that the handy amount of independents also believe that.
Let's show the same poll showed 36% of Democrats think bush was part of the 9/11 conspiracy so there -- a lot to conspiracy theories floating around it's a complicated world.
People use these theories to explain it when they don't understand it.
I would say the real mystery is not where Obama's from law.
Who cares.
It's his motives in doing the things he does so he said obamacare would reduce health care costs it didn't -- -- raising tax on the rich would balance the budget didn't he now says banning.
Rifles with certain cosmetic features will prevent school shootings when he knows that's not true.
So the real mystery is his motive why is the president pushing policies.
Because his stated explanations don't make sense I think people actually do have a right to that -- Sharon and I I don't know what it is Marjorie is this because you know you you hear people talk about you know wasn't born in Kenya is -- a Muslim or is this because.
Barack Obama has some inability did you know sound like the common man in the way Bill Clinton did in sort of breakthrough the veneer and say.
I'm a regular guy I trust me I was born in Hawaii.
Well.
I think it's a combination of things I mean you have to look at it he is a different kind of president than we've ever seen.
He's African American man to start with he's also a little bit more academic he's one of those people that sort of internalized the processes things before he comes out -- states -- policy.
Did very different than President Bush and Clinton who -- about nicknames and joked around a little bit more and we're a little bit more overt.
And he's very protective rightfully so it with the Stanley.
But look he's the man who's written two books about his life he's been batted through two presidential campaigns which Tucker working -- campaigns you know.
We go to great lengths to try to dig up any dirt we can't so I don't think there's much dirt to be found.
But I will say things like trump and Donald Trump and others who have come forward to try to create question do create a buzz in the media which -- impact public opinion.
I mean maybe we have a little or other -- details scandal -- and there's like a dead girlfriend but where we.
Otherwise out of the -- I think there wasn't.
How credible is -- -- that's.
It's like yeah -- there going.
Because it hit you have doubts apparently about it is background.
And early like they believe he's hiding important information about his background and early life.
How this has to do with it was -- whole controversy over whether he needed to release his college transcripts and I do -- precious little about his college years and you know we're his friends and -- are the folks that he spent that time with him I mean are not sure we happy so dismissive of the 36% of Americans who still have some questions about that.
What my principal Jackson C about administration happy with the policies are putting for including and especially the gun control legislation -- -- the other day however.
I think it's interesting that he has to answer basic questions about his background I'm not sure how relevant is it wouldn't change speaking for myself my view.
Of his political ideas which are wrong.
Like I still think he deserves to be asked those questions and its -- point that he was -- he was not bad it actually.
Very effectively by the press we know virtually not the average person knows nothing about -- his voting record.
Element in the Illinois as a state senator and the truth is that most reporters felt -- -- wait and even in 2012.
It was pretty important at this -- be elected president that he was the historic figure.
It was a good guy you sort of -- -- -- she's an academic seasonal actual.
And they didn't actually do a deep dive on Barack Obama there were no partner of the very few hard nosed reporters and those campaigns I was there trust me.
But OK maybe not on the reporter's side that you have to think about it on the on the counter ad campaign by you know that they didn't they dug in turn overturn any rock they can find.
To get any dirt on him especially given the whole birther movement everything associate with that there was a lot of accountability.
The campaign and what.
Mitt Romney didn't want to release his tax records I -- in that incident why would a politician give more information and -- than needed and I would say.
He likes to stand on his policy -- may disagree with them.
But I think you know is there something to hide I think it's more about the unknown of -- people like and he is not like maybe that 30% of Americans who think.
Yet there may be something -- but -- -- And I -- it will tell.
-- points out 25%.
Believe that you know President Bush.
Has something to do with denial I terrorist attack I don't know they're just a contingent in the country around and it we're seeing people believe now that new town that the new type shootings or were you were made I guess this is what doesn't like what People Magazine and keeps their reality TV -- we gotta have some kind of intrigue -- life for we just before that and so.
I think it's also great.
-- I think and I think that's right but it's deeper -- did it.
Here's the Tea Party is actually right.
Most the power -- country is concentrated in relatively few number of hands and it's a very complex series of systems that.
Run the world the most people don't understand them and they're frustrated -- that in.
And they resort sadly in my view but to sometimes -- castle conspiracy theories.
To explain them but there are a lot of things about Obama that were ignored by the press we aired a video of him calling the federal government racist.
In its response to Katrina nobody -- on that during the campaign they just ignored it so well that opera -- -- north of the poll was conducted at 814.
Registered American voters you know whether that's.
Huge sample or not but in any that would leave it at that now thanks.
