Hi everyone I'm meteorologist -- -- now from the fox extreme weather center with your forecast for.

The northern plains and also sections of the Pacific northwest and out for today it's going to be a very cool day.

Across -- essential section of the US I mean we're talking about wind chill warnings in effect because we could be looking at some wind chill temperatures.

As cold as fifty degrees below zero and frostbite becomes a concern act and when you get this cold out there and also.

Hypothermia so please be safe across state -- Minnesota and north and South Dakota and even northern sections of Iowa are looking at some of those wind chill warnings.

In fact high temperature today in Bismarck only one degrees of course when you factor in the wind -- -- it feels so much colder at nineteen over -- Rapid City.

Parts of Montana and that too bad for the month of January 29 over -- was a lot.

And 31 degrees for high temperature in Billings and across sections of the Pacific northwest definitely not bad at all we're talking high temperatures since the forties.

In Seattle Portland and also down -- -- effort now -- -- precipitation either in the -- -- Washington or you know even Idaho we do have a little disturbance so that is producing some areas of snow.

Across eastern sections -- -- a couple of inches of snow will be possible out here nothing too major.

He can't really handle and eventually that system does exit into sections.

Nebraska producing some light snow out there but again not a huge.

Snow maker but.

Across sections of the Pacific northwest -- are gonna start to notice some changes not play Monday or Tuesday but by midweek Wednesday.

We do have a brand new storm system that will be arriving and they storm is going to be bringing in.

-- significant rainfall so we're gonna see a shift in the weather pattern from the quiet conditions to more of the rainy pattern as we -- into -- Wednesday so keep that in mind on the West Coast.
