Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Maria Molina from the fox extreme weather center with your forecast for the northeast.

And also portions of the Great Lakes and -- today we're gonna be noticing a bit of a temperature drop.

And we haven't even colder air masses in place right now across portions of the upper midwest and the Great Lakes and -- is headed eastbound we're -- -- be noticing.

By Tuesday and also into Lindsay reports -- the cooler temperatures are going to be in place across places.

In the midwest that in Minneapolis your high temperature only four below zero that's as warm it's gonna get today and that's not even the windchill -- -- you factor in the -- And as -- if -- anywhere between ten to twenty degrees.

Colder than that otherwise Chicago eleven degrees for your high only one over and -- tax.

-- on the I five corridor not too bad 45 for you in DC but interior sections of the northeast already looking a lot colder 26 for you over Pittsburgh.

And 25 degrees for your high temperature in Syracuse so over the week and we did have to deal -- that lake effect snow Leszek cold air does go over the Great Lakes.

Police are relatively warmer that -- at lake effect snow as it picks up the moisture and density in the form of snow some place is right off.

Of Lake Ontario could be looking at accumulations as much as about a flat.

There's actually going to be an area of low pressure developing off the coast of the northeast.
