I didn't -- 1364.

Days since the senate last passed a budget look at that and now some members of congress are saying enough already and they have a plan.

And this plan is to force Washington to get serious about the fiscal problems they say if congress does not pass a budget they're not going to get paid.

If fox is is just learn from majority leader Eric Cantor that the house we'll do this bill says we won't vote on this bill tomorrow.

Nevada senator Dean Heller came up -- this about a year ago joins us right now from Washington.

Senator instead -- saying hey we're not gonna risk that would not going to lift the debt ceiling it's a yellow -- of -- three months.

And then we'll go ahead and pass a budget.

In that time period is up.

Possible.

I sure hope so obviously that's the goal that's been my goal for the last eighteen months -- have been in the senate obviously a push the senate to actually do something.

As you just mentioned we have budget here for almost four years.

In Washington DC and I think we can agree on one thing that -- -- worst run institution in America right now as United States congress that Sony to do something different.

So -- do the.

That you've got to get into.

And to do that hold on to their paycheck Republicans like Darrell ice is that I think that's unconstitutional.

At well as a lot of people in Washington DC that obviously don't wanna cut their pay the purpose of that constitutional amendment was to make sure that members of congress and enrich themselves.

During the legislative session I'll tell this to lead their allies and anybody else who wants to make this argument.

Cut your pay go back your district and see if you're you're our constituents complain.

Yeah and bodily Darrell ice is one of these guys who's a successful business many as needed dollar from the government.

Just bring it up needed to he -- his riches that -- -- that's for sure true I'd Joseph Manchin is the only Democrat that I could see.

That is signed on what do you think on the other side some people on the other on the left -- calling -- a gimmick.

There -- again back I think leadership in the senate called it stupid girl in Washington DC do they call budgeting stupid and that's why we're sixteen trillion dollars and in -- in the hole right now you know everything is done in Washington DC -- crisis everything's a crisis.

Whether it's a debt ceiling whether -- sequestration.

You it doesn't matter whatever it is everything is done by crisis the end.

We're gonna push this forward this to be vote in the house tomorrow president is already said if it's in the legislation he'll sign it.

So there's an opportunity to have -- -- Joseph Joseph signed on to this thing and he has promised me that he'll try to get some of his colleagues on this side of the aisle to support the the idea.

Now senator what I -- -- most encouraging to come out of the Sunday shows over the weekend is David -- said we find the president finds -- encouraging.

So the White House would support a move like this.

So in -- instead of saying that debt ceilings here -- we're not gonna move you're saying we're moving ahead of the crisis can you get a budget together in three months is that possible.

Well it is a factor required by a lot of have a ready by April 1 the budget should be completed by April 1 let me take -- -- step forward further five -- and that is what's the purpose of having a Budget Committee if they're not budgeting.

You don't pay that committee fifteen million dollars everybody any end to do their job and they haven't done effort to by Indians while we just get rid of the Budget Committee if they're not gonna do their jobs you know -- -- The Budget Committee more money than we do veterans affairs.

And if they don't even do their job I would be the first to propose eliminating the budget committees and I can do their jobs.

Senator thanks to shaken up the place we're getting tired of the same -- time and time again alleges that Leo goes tomorrow -- -- -- under show all right great and I can't wait to see -- in the aftermath hopefully be a big thumbs up.

Senator Helen thanks so much.

And that.
