Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Maria Molina from the fox -- weather center with your forecast for the southwest.

And for today's going to be not to that out across California especially in Los Angeles where -- could be a very warm day out.

High temperatures in the afternoon making it into the low 87.

81 degrees Fahrenheit temperature is sixty over in Denver and is very mild for January but -- one -- top.

Still dealing with the cold temperatures 24 degrees -- high temperature in.

Salt Lake City as -- precipitation goes across a four corners region like.

Parts of Arizona New Mexico Colorado -- you Tom we're not really expecting much of that.

Throughout the day today Nevada -- Oslo the quiet side -- in eleven northern California gonna start to notice some clouds rolling on -- Throughout the Dayton daily have been seeing that occurring because we have a next son our next storm system that slowly crawling into areas.

A northern California and as we head into tomorrow we're -- -- -- see precipitation associated with that system across extreme northern parts.

The state of California with some rain for lower elevations and then some snow.

Across a higher elevations of the Sierra so we could be looking at some dangerous driving conditions out there be driving -- the mountain passes.

And eventually some of that -- -- awesome leaking into San Francisco.

As we head into late Wednesday and also into early Thursday so again looking at some -- finds some snowfall across California eventually that system by Thursday -- -- -- Into the state of new -- with us now and also some out any rain have -- everyone I'm meteorologist Maria loaning out from the fox extreme weather center.
