Hey country's president fox -- Rick this is my favorite time of the week as you know -- with me at its top -- no business for one of them.

-- -- Especially when you have the 2012 wine retailer of the year here.

You look at crown or something I very -- here -- very -- -- marketplace extravaganza.

I -- undergrad -- you don't I am excellent of people should know you started it it with this little place in nineteen sent.

-- 12100 square feet very very tiny store and how -- -- it was I.

That's going to -- we store which is 24000.

Square feet -- new -- still only four years old and it's a mega store and it's and all the time that he.

Now one of things you're doing is you bring in wine and food and -- that's kind of the new is.

It's a whole marketplace you know we like to say one stop shopping earlier entertainment.

I'm fine wine goes with great cheese is great foods who Hillary.

-- class where she's -- so whatever it takes to have that.

Event experience.

Where -- -- how the holidays.

The holidays -- and -- You know we had a heart came which gave us very slow star.

That where -- at a distribution issues right they're huge and we're still.

Making up for that and and so would the challenge from business was to fill the shelves and have the proper product in place.

Without necessarily being able to go to war normal distribution.

You know one major -- that was closed for awhile.

But beyond that there were containers that couldn't get off loaded there were containers diverted and that didn't come to the market.

And we just had to move things around and and come up -- different opportunities that would just -- -- very challenging.

But we're able survive question well what was -- -- and you saw this holiday season experimentation.

You know it's been growing -- more.

You -- you know wine for parties wants to give as gifts of people who definitely going out a little bit more on the limb and trying new things whether it's new arrivals.

-- -- -- -- -- -- And they're starting to edge back up the price -- a little bit more there.

Being a little bit more open so that's good news for us but at the same time value still in black is.

People looking for value and then looking for winds I'd like to think that over deliver.

Because you can only you can find it great fifty dollar -- if you pay seven dollars for.

It's under -- but if you pay fifteen -- -- this way why it could go 0% -- here maybe it's over delivering it tastes better than your paying for.

Let's talk about this though because you know even we have wine spectator here with their top 100 they had winds -- it was they were under twenty dollars it and they made the list so.

How do it.

Is winemakers and make a wine and -- -- cheap when it like you're saying you can buy a capture fifty you can buy a cab for fifteen what's the difference.

Well there's a lot you know that that's a whole show unto itself -- some of the bullet points are geography.

You know whether the cost to get that one where the cost to produce the -- where's it coming from.

But beyond that I think that I like to look at -- in the New Jersey world it's like tomato plants that you couldn't let your tomato.

Plan.

Have as many flowers as you -- because you know tomatoes they grow all over the place.

And -- injured and you could -- you could let them all stay on the line some all right been somewhat.

So will -- and later they're not all of equal quality and check if you prune them back and have sliced tomatoes on that buying some ambushed.

Then each tomato will have higher -- Same thing with -- line you know with great if you put if you -- ago -- have an enormous amount of fruit.

It -- be even meaning some will be here right and at different times some will have some berries on it that don't write in some bloggers over.

But if you prune it back -- less fruit but the quality of -- The cost of that goes up because you producing less.

Bright line and as a reliever and much similar -- the use of what would is very expensive.

I'm Aaron Miles we'll now go what 800 box 800 dollars by point -- cases.

That is an enormous -- So then could you argued then that the -- -- No it has more things that that could treat it like it's bad air.

But again -- matter of -- -- correction I you know there are days that I'm looking for because of this -- or whatever a big rich California cabinet my -- there -- other times and looking for a light easy drinking can more or climbing year something a little bit different.

They don't have to be expensive.

But there are things that cause the wanted to in the growing process in the production that will mean it has to work -- OK so you for us of quite a little -- here and all these winds are under twenty dollars a broad value and uniqueness.

As a tell us which brought.

-- -- Kerio so sparkling.

Rose now this is hot it's these sparkling -- aren't prozac goes a really hot you know and everybody's talking about it -- -- -- and bring back a -- Why do you think pink paint business today's hot.

It's hot it's refreshing you think about what's coming up Valentine's Day is coming.

You you have some chocolate cake this we've got great minutes -- marries you know it's just it's a beautiful and it's an expensive.

We've used -- that holiday parties because it's something a little bit different.

And it's only 1011 dollars.

Can't grip and is it pops and it's mood is from Argentina and now backs are really hot and Argentina in itself -- so up -- coming -- It's still up and coming you can find -- -- now back from between ten and fifteen dollars.

Easily and those winds that I would put in the over deliver category.

That -- -- brought us.

Could this eleven unless it's a very day out to Spanish white and I love that you know wind when I think of Spain I think Hispanic whites I think it.

Oysters I think of war fish I think of -- that just fresh -- training and you need -- high acidity winds and that's a great one of those in -- with flavor but not -- this now would.

But crisp lively acidity which goes great with.

Oysters as well.

-- like that and -- I have had the culprit.

Fabulous fine.

It's like sixteen box it's funky it's got a lot of zinfandel and it and that's one -- the the new things of how to make wind less expensive.

Is you find some riotous -- is very expensive.

Zinfandel not as expensive.

So you can get this becomes backbone is -- I'll call yes 4050 presents in the next substitutes -- -- Rossum are low in there.

And now you're getting -- approved.

Richness and flavor.

Easy drinking and not panic and that's right it's still -- price if that's something that's kind of I feel like that's -- see more and more to blends.

Well they've always you know Bordeaux has always been a -- landing at this protest in Atlanta they're blends from apparently -- -- -- if -- On the new blends are taking base whether it's base cabernet -- base -- oh.

Or -- Zinn and any other components to give its spicy -- -- to -- -- rich gets to give it easy drinking young could we drink -- you know.

Winds -- most people don't collect and these went to design -- -- food affront to drink when they're released.

-- -- that because I know patients.

And I'm learning.

I love this next label oops oops oops it's -- that and I was what it was was it kind of like -- an accident and they and they found this great -- You you should be their marketing and it -- the -- a lost great.

In four ago it was the six varieties of French.

It's a group French grape is in Bordeaux flocks -- Cain killed all the lines they replanted and they were having trouble with -- years -- -- it takes longer right.

When in July -- -- was one of the -- and they had -- early on mixed in with rely.

But it does it right in the same time said they thought they were getting under right -- once they realized it was a separate great.

Whoops it's not what I thought -- -- They let it right -- longer and climbing here is rich and spicy you know I support.

Like is it on steroids doesn't have the alcohol.

Or heavy now that you get from it but -- -- at least spicy that I really.

And -- -- that label and itself attacks -- -- and that attracts buyers not to -- here you know like cult.

Both of these are enough to be serious since it's about fine and entertaining just.

-- on the -- that's kind of deterrent to -- trying to demystify this not -- -- about it like to have a good time and we had.

Rock a little -- here one time rightly so this this whole notion of let it and -- drink and it should be just.

He had any budget -- half right you know it shouldn't be where it has to be -- events -- didn't want it if you think and all of Europe it is part of the meal.

You start drinking why would dinner you -- alone when there's -- if we would exit from Americas and sound -- we start and I.

At this -- has been.

No I -- think -- -- -- I -- did the next is your private label yes and I had this it's fabulous why you.

Thousands of bottles -- -- find places why do you mean when -- It's a great question and it's you know there's a lot going on out there and it won't when I like -- say is it's and outsourcing.

It's about you don't have to call winery direct the closer we get the soil.

The more value we can offer.

The more the winds -- over deliver and there are a lot of vintners that have more fruit.

Available and then it and then they noted -- and they can ball good off.

Which means sell you know they take their -- sell the barrels to somebody and they blended model or -- people like us.

And make the line for us and I find that that.

First have to seal of -- you know we're putting our name -- so.

It better to go my reputation as its stake and -- better over deliver and we have -- going -- which is this it's Sonoma coast Sonoma Russian river pinot noir and Chardonnay.

And they always over deliver and that we have go figure is -- more time indicate but those are single individual lots of wind we find that -- winery may have.

Fifty cases to money that they will appeal itself for author -- so we sell for authority whether or a couple of hundred.

Cases extras that they.

And immigrants and -- All of course if you noticed is GF on his initial.

That's you know so I can remember I have had both the Russian ever and that -- I've not had go to grand finale so that's a year highest.

The grand finale as we buy one barrel at a time.

From vendors that are willing to make something really unique and special for us.

We co label that so we've done it with what -- so will be grand finale live there -- years.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- And that gives the winemaker chance to make -- really -- unique lot that we -- -- and and again we sell them for fair price.

Very fair price -- now let's move on now you have a futures program going on as wine futures programs here's unfortunately we got a couple of business.

But yet you know there are a lot of.

Futures programs we took one of Bordeaux which we'll talk about Burger's right which you know around -- futures in Bordeaux France and it is.

If you if you're into wine.

And you're into fine what's hot and you don't like making money.

Bordeaux futures is a way to go you know if you want -- of and the way it is to get -- a quick synopsis.

Is every February march they have -- premiere that's when the border ways introduce the new vintage.

Merchants from around the world go there importers exporters.

Retailers -- -- shop owners everybody goes there.

And they introduced a new vintage you taste the entire event.

-- I sent it off I I go one I've -- like three times it's it's it's very difficult and I have a board of wire.

And report -- -- came a -- ago and what we do is then come back and the wineries release -- percentage of their -- -- premier at a future price.

We -- the lineup and that we start selling his future the wind is released usually about three years later we're finishing a -- 09 campaign as we speak right.

And then why I'm the one is released in the ready -- -- and it's.

You're making a bet that.

The price you're -- in today it's going to be worth way more than that when it finally is released correct that your bet yes like an option it like an option.

The difference is it's a diminishing product right you know -- -- 101000 cases of upon release by the time it's released there's only 9008 -- -- by the time so what happens is the wind gets better.

There's lesson.

And the demand goes up so light having a beach house there's only so nude beach property -- having a great Bordeaux from a great vintage it's very limit and.

As used saudis like of a and I wanted to get.

Get into this program I do it through you yes and your people and that's a very important point right bring.

I'm and you know our website -- conduct common and look up -- had the icon for Bordeaux futures but you want to.

Play with Bordeaux futures with somebody you know you want a -- you -- reputable firm because you're giving us your money.

Three years in advance right so you don't -- -- fly by night you -- you you have to be different in three years yes yes and you wouldn't know that that somebody that's been around.

And that's been.

Doing futures because otherwise you don't know what's gonna happen.

It's really and -- we should have you back to talk more about futures but at before we run out of time I want to buy an apple -- And there is.

Napa premier happens the end of every February and I go and I bringing that I do every year -- I -- battalion -- Am I but then that the premiere is all the vintners get together and it's when they're.

Aches and -- vintners donate winds this event and it helps fund the vendors association.

Which then funds -- their other charitable events throughout the so well and they donate enormous amount of money they're so giving.

And that we do a future program.

Where I go and I bottom line and I did it's all five tenants when -- -- slots so you think about more doubts 101000 cases.

This is sixty bottles.

So it's extremely limited and there's some ego involved so the winemakers and the owners and vintners are trying to make the best ones possible.

They wants to put our panel up and spend a lot of money so that's something that's really cool and we we bring back.

Unique -- the difference between this word -- these ones don't appreciate an enormous amounts of -- buying four.

But economics.

Right now poured out if you buy because you love wind and you want to share great unique wind through there and now they're premieres the way to go and again that's something you could look on -- website.

That website actually is like the ultimate shopping center to you don't even -- it's not live in New Jersey actually can shop and you're so good about shipping the wind comes beautifully.

Trust me I know boxes come all the time it's -- -- and yesterday thank you so much thank you so much on the equalizer crazy weather day here in Manhattan.
