These -- -- you can see the swat team got -- getting ready right there -- this is of course in north Houston as you said lone star college in Harris county and these as in all early moments.

-- -- shootings the information has not been confirmed by police but the locals are reporting there may be.

As many as two or three victims again that is not confirmed.

Gunshot victims a local affiliate also reporting.

They heard multiple gunshot wounds now on the website of lone star college which by the way encompasses about six different campuses in and around the Houston area with some 90000 total students.

We don't know the population of this exact campus when we get that we'll find out but they have posted on the campus website telling all students and faculty.

To shelter in place which means you do not go out.

And you do not come on the camp is if you are off campus as you look at these swat team members kind of gathered around.

There are reports that one person might be in custody and I stress might we did see.

A local report of a man face down on the ground.

And another report that police are looking for yet a second suspect again this is not confirm.

These the reports we're getting we have now sent producers and correspondents to the scene.

We plan to have much more.

But again keep in mind in the early going a lot of the information is very fluid the local affiliate just getting on scene police wait too busy.

To get on the followed us and give us the with reportedly three people shot one person taken into custody and searching for another person.

As crews kind of go in and around the university wondering if -- second gunman may still be on campus.

We're gonna get some more information -- as we get it we'll get back -- -- on this line.

Yeah -- you and I have reported on far too many of these school shootings it's just sickening.

And of course what what we know at the beginning ends up.

At the end of these things not necessarily to match but what we saw monitoring our internal feed coming in from our affiliate we did see a couple of stretchers.

No word on.

How badly injured people are how many people are injured but as you said north Harris we know right now is on lockdown.

Faculty and staff are advised to take immediate shelter where you are that's the -- emergency alert they went out to everyone on this north.

Harris campus.

Again we all we know are -- emergency responders are there.

But we'd have precious few details stress.

And if I might -- you know you look at this picture -- left hand side of the screen this is a good or at least semi encouraging because you have police officers are kind of roaming in the center square.

Of the college right there and they do not seem to be appearing as if someone were inside -- so either this thing is.

Is in the process of winding down it's all over whatever's happened.

But you can see right here on the right hand side -- bringing somebody out it appears to be on a stretcher there.

Again we have not confirmed the number of victims in this that we don't want to get any wild speculation going.

But but we've heard three we're gonna stick with that until we get confirmation from police but just the actions of police officers on scene and the comings and goings.

That that they believe whatever was happening inside -- -- students leaving so.

These again are live pictures from KT RK students leaving the building with their hands up another indication that they believe it's at least safe to get people off the campus.

And to get police on the campus so they can either continue their search.

Or they can continue with their investigation we can get more information about exactly how many people -- involved in this out.

Yeah directories we don't know how many people were inside at the time if in fact.

There were shots fired and there are some local media is confirming it.

And but we do see the people these scenes again just all too familiar and all too sickening of people having to run out of their schools.

With their hands on their heads during an evacuation of some kind but.

But you're right the police.

Presence does look a little bit different it does feel a little bit different we don't see -- maybe it's our vantage point a swat team.

With all of there are right here on having to go in maybe that's suggests that someone is in custody that we just don't know yet.
