We are joined by Bob Cusack managing editor for -- hill is likely to be secretary Clinton's last major act as secretary of state and probably -- last testimony before congress what's at stake for over here Bob.

I think a fair amount obviously this hearing was gonna take place earlier but -- she had some.

Health issues so this is going to be a big spotlight on Hillary Clinton obviously have a policy implication of who knew what went.

I justice Jennifer was saying it did it she talked to the president.

Did the president watch the video feed -- Hillary Clinton watch this video feed.

As this was going on this attack.

And of course in the backdrop you have politics -- to -- sixteen a lot of people think Hillary Clinton will run a lot of people want her on the democratic side.

To run so this is -- is these are key hearings for fertility Clinton.

So you think this is not just sort of the swan song of an outgoing secretary of state this is them potentially damaging tested testimony.

To a potential presidential candidate.

Well Republicans are certainly I think gonna go after her they're gonna ask some some tough questions and and Hillary Clinton has said she's not gonna run for president before but Bill Clinton certainly -- -- that.

Door open that she might run.

There's no doubt about it in 2016 is -- longtime ally but but it didn't want to present you've got to start.

Thinking about that in about a year year and a half so.

There's no doubt about it that there's there's a question this could hamper.

A potential 2016 bit.

That accountability review board found systemic failures at all levels of the State Department she has already.

Essentially accepted responsibility.

For what happened.

How much can she say here that won't land all of this in her lap.

Well I think because of that probe and the fact that that Hillary Clinton accepted.

The findings is that these she's gonna have to admit there were mistakes made here and clearly -- -- and and move forward as far as what how could this -- prevent it in the future.

She is committed to to more security.

Around the world that embassies and consulates so I think that's going to be what she's gonna be saying that the -- clearly.

There were mistakes made but Republicans -- keep pressing and I also think another issue that's gonna come up as it is Algeria that attack.

How what why wasn't the US notified that the Algerian forces we're gonna go win.

That's going to be part of the mix as well now lots of questions obviously about.

Military response or lack -- of them lack of mounting a rescue effort.

Meyrowitz -- let's hope so Bob Cusack thank you expect.
