This breaking news out of Houston.

Lone star college and here's what we've been able to put together.

This is from law enforcement from -- the school administrator there and others here's what we believe happened there was a dispute going on for.

Between a number of students maybe two maybe more at least two.

It's our understanding suddenly at least one person produced a -- maybe two people produced a gun.

The dispute may have been among multiple people the shooting among two people anyway as -- administrator at this college but that is a big school.

This is in the university but has like 181000 students they haven't no guns policy -- is the sort of -- state -- in on this college no guns allowed.

And it's our understanding from the administrator and law enforcement -- what happened was the dispute carried into the hallways between classes.

Gunfire erupted.

As as the administrator of the lone star college put it.

A couple of -- it's got caught in the crossfire.

Some of the injuries were told may be quite serious.

One of the gunmen if there is more than one we're not sure but a gunman is in custody and is injured.

Was the gunman shot we're not sure but the gunman according to the authorities was injured.

There's another person who was involved either in the dispute.

Or in the shooting who escaped to a nearby wooded area this campus is surrounded on a couple of sides not surround it is bordered on a couple of sides by woods.

A number of students report they saw.

Someone with a red sweatshirt on March singled going into these woods so they're looking for someone who may be shooter may -- wanted for questioning but is not on campus.

They're evacuating this campus and other -- it's it's our understanding.

The shooting happened about a little over an hour ago it's just 1 minute past 2 o'clock in the afternoon at the school.

Nearby hospitals tell local media organizations that one is very serious one maybe critical we don't know if one was the shooter now.

Cannot at this point in time.

Can you confirm whether the two victims who were classified or characterized as being quote caught in the crossfire unquote were students.

I believe that they are and yes that's -- it's my -- it's my understanding that this happened in an area which includes.
