Wanna go on to the daily -- bash now Justin -- -- -- told radio news service is here probably to tell me that I -- top of the lap dog media that loves the Obama is and I should not like the bangs old address -- -- -- to tell -- Justin.
I like today he's you know I didn't really notice address I never really noticed dresses.
If a girl last we -- just looks I just say it looks great.
-- -- -- The drinks a lot of its purest golf -- but you give you what you did seriously though I -- -- some concerns -- back the media are being a little too.
Loving you shall we say that the right word towards the Obama administration in -- -- -- inauguration day and beyond.
Yeah I would I would go at that you know the bitter partisan in me like the speech you know when it comes to climate -- and gay rights and you know all those things I get excited as a voter.
I'll but as the media critic and as a journalist and somebody who's out here watching it.
You know there was a sense that had -- been Mitt Romney and had to come out and gave what -- -- essentially kind of a divisive speech and really kind of came out with.
You know things that are.
Sort of partisan goals we -- a much different reaction it's sort of like how we saw with the last time bush was inaugurated and 2005.
You know the media really decried -- coming out and speaking -- -- he had a mandate.
-- was fresh off the election and was kind of going forward and really defending a lot of kind of controversial foreign policy practices.
And you know we saw today was sort of the same thing but instead of you know the media -- -- we saw a lot of -- brace for itself but I don't it's sort of the argument could be made there.
Just -- don't we have in the modern media landscape a situation where everybody knows wedding go -- to get what they want if they only want one view that.
I mean it's it's not -- it's not correct to say that the the big media all our old liberal dominated all left leaning when you have.
Rush Limbaugh lead you know -- the highest -- -- talk show host on radio a host of more conservative radio talk show host should go Glenn Beck then doing.
Whatever he does on the interwebs I mean everybody knows to wedding go to get what they want -- they have -- and then this that there isn't a problem all the people wanna be.
It's all about preaching to the converted these days.
You know I would stay with that in place you know yeah there -- a left wing outlets and yet there are right wing outlets.
But that really just highlight the need to have sort of the mainstream media.
That is you know -- partial that is unbiased and that is what I think is important and I think.
And at times it -- you know too far in the direction.
And I think people need to be cautious for that because in order to have those kind of echo -- -- -- you at least need some kind of common ground to agree on I do need the -- -- presented.
In order for these arguments he made and that's what I think you know the arguments against media bias are pretty important who have.
Has The Who has the obligation.
To try and it's not an easy thing to do but to try.
To be completely.
In the middle because.
Did the vast majority of the media companies the vast majority are privately owned companies.
And it's all about profit.
And it appear as.
In the world in which we live.
That opinion -- small profit the -- opinion.
So who -- an obligation to provide us with this mythical all lovely landing which you only get the fact.
You know that's always a good question but.
You know -- journalism and people who practice it and you know people who are in the news industry there's at least sort of a higher calling that comes along with that that's more than just the almighty dollar.
Whether or not -- very often I don't know get you know do people really -- they have an obligation to put their finances behind something that makes us money.
You know probably not but at the end of the day you know there is sort of a higher sense that you know informing the populace and keeping up.
You know the information keeping a well informed public is pretty important news so you know as far as a business decision you know there's a very good reason why did not go to business school.
I'm not very good but it comes down to dollars and cents.
But you know speaking just morally and philosophically.
Yet needs to be done.
Yet you and I should set up a media outlet together we'd be bankrupt within a month I'm shall I -- down -- glasses will be good.
All right -- duck and it's a fascinating debate and always fun to have it with you -- thank you very much -- -- -- -- -- told radio -- -- Justin is one of those.
