Just hours from now secretary of state Hillary Clinton will finally testify before congress.

About the terror attack -- been Ghazi that killed four Americans including our ambassador Chris Stevens.

So will her testimony finally put to rest lingering questions about what happens.

Let's ask retired navy commander who served as pentagon spokesman.

During the George W Bush Administration JD -- thank you so much for coming up we know.

That the stay -- that the State Department was asked for more security on the ground.

Christopher C Stevens issued a -- not too long before that attack that claimed his life saying.

The -- Libyans would not continue to guarantee security in by Ben Ghazi yet we continue to rely upon them to do -- And the State Department turned down requests for additional security is that the top questions and I.

I think it will be -- you know I think Secretary Clinton needs to come clean with the American people with congress and tell them.

Why we didn't have more security in Libya we have something like 200 al-Qaeda related incidents in recent times.

But -- the leadership in Washington -- the State Department refuses supply extra security.

So that's going to be the top question what it basically blamed it on money before and that doesn't seem to be a valid issue to me it doesn't become valid excuse I toll free money should have been excuse for that because you know -- Secretary Clinton got the -- 112 Clinton Jersey -- Was -- -- from the illness and that like football helmet the -- represented numbers of countries you visit it which is great that she went article countries but really if you take a step back is is so great.

If she was in the -- Carolina based sex rights as you point out exactly like me can't understand what you don't listen to your people on the ground.

Who are concerned about their lives State Department failed to do that is -- -- get answered today.

I think it would will get answer to some extent but you know a lot of these things have already been answered by her deputies you know some of them have resigned and been disciplined.

What she's never said it directly to congress so it's about time she's doing it.

I hope they really asked for the tough questions.

This is really going to be about 2016 also because she's one of the top candidates for president twice sixteen so she can either help move on.

Or she -- have a Susan -- Sunday -- moment and not they have four deaths to account for and that has not been answered an add to the satisfaction of many of -- correct you have the investigation is going very slowly right now.

We still have been apprehended the people behind it and so I'm very concerned about that as well OK and then but finally there's this report that was issued I worry that she's -- go back to that report.

And -- -- all the things from the report and not really get new information I passed.

Well I hope she's able to lay out a plan about what the State Department is doing from now on to prevent future -- Nazis because we're very vulnerable.

Throughout North Africa throughout the Middle East this Arab Spring was supposed to be good -- in many people's minds.

But it hasn't for us as far as democracy.

And we have people like the Muslim Brotherhood -- -- taking over his country's.

In our -- diplomatic posts are not a -- -- used to but I do understand that the Marines attachments will be set to somebody is most at least secure sites across the world so right maybe things are gonna look -- for security.

For our folks going forward let's hope we needed to be that way okay important you thank you so much for coming on and fixture appreciate it take or Katie Gordon -- have.
