And also portions of the Great Lakes and sports today it's going to be another very cool -- out across both areas.
With temperatures well below average and in -- -- the wind and it feels even colder once again today they're talking about wind -- temperatures.
That could be below zero across interior sections of the northeast also widespread across new England and into portions of the upper midwest.
Parts -- the midwest very cold -- -- -- high temperature in Minneapolis eleven degrees over Marquette only twenty in the city of Detroit.
Widespread teens across parts of upstate New York announced parts of Pennsylvania otherwise point two degrees.
We -- high temperature in New York City in -- cold temperatures are forecast to continue through the weekend.
It really won't be until next week that you're expecting to see a little bit of -- moderation and in those temperatures and just more mild air moving into the region but.
Until then we're gonna have to deal with that lake effect snow across areas in the Great -- to get -- cold air over the relatively warmer Great Lakes.
And that's really what produces at lake effect -- some areas already reporting over two feet of snow across of -- New York.
And by the time that lake effect snow is over with later -- -- -- tomorrow you're talking three feet of snow.
Possible out here across some of these areas downwind and the Great Lakes especially definitely eerie and also Ontario otherwise -- -- any five quarter relatively quiet fourth stages of sunshine but we do have a brand -- storm system that will be developing right now that storm.
At a across parts of the West Coast and it's that storm that's gonna -- eastbound.
And at a time we head into Friday we could be looking at some snowfall across places.
In the northeast.
And also may be across parts of the mid Atlantic in BC some that likes -- poverty in developing.
As we head -- -- Thursday across portions of the mid Atlantic -- and more significant storm system is forecast and possibly the -- up.
Into our area as we -- into your Friday -- afternoon and also into early Saturday -- possibly could see some significant snowfall accumulations.
Up over six inches but again still need to continue to track this storm system and see how it develops as -- -- -- disagreeing on the exact track and intensity of the storm.
