Hi everyone I'm meteorologist -- of Alina in the spots extreme weather center with the forecast more.

-- -- glass and also portions of the northern plains and today it's going to be another cold day out.

Across parts of the north central although I believe it or not they've actually little warmer.

And we've been seeing over the last couple of -- support today Bismarck you're talking about temperatures above zero degrees seven degrees Fahrenheit temperature at 23 over in Rapid City.

Across Montana and temperatures into the thirties -- over in Casper and push -- the Pacific -- last.

Are looking at temperatures that are a little bit cooler that's popping -- storm system that hasn't rides so in Seattle you're seeing a high temperatures today after 4139.

-- -- -- And mid forties in the city of -- -- in -- -- system is going to be producing widespread areas of rain.

Most areas are seeing temperatures above freezing -- as you head into lower elevations and that's really what you're expecting just to see.

-- -- rain from Seattle down I five into Portland and even northern portions.

The state of California that pink stuff is actually freezing rain still across portions of the cascades.

W may be traveling in the -- passes today you could be seeing some icing occurring on road -- you've got to be really careful.

It really won't be and much snow -- won't be until you get into really the highest elevations.

The cascades and that's -- we're talking about just -- snow but otherwise reviewing a huge concern here across parts of the cascades.

And eventually some of this moisture does make it into parts of Nevada especially -- -- and -- -- Friday and eventually some of it also making into western portions.

-- -- -- Montana by early Thursday morning and then.

Into Wyoming as we head into late Thursday.

That's actually going to be the storm system that could be producing some snow across places.

On the -- any five corridor in the northeast by Friday into Saturday so this storm system that we're tracking here is going to be -- West Coast to East Coast storm.

Over the next several days by Thursday you have another storm arriving into the Pacific northwest -- more snow so this is going to be a little bit cooler.

But expect more rain into Seattle and Portland to wrap up the work week on Friday have a -- everyone I'm meteorologist Mario Molina -- the fox extreme weather center.
