Hello I'm meteorologist Janice Dean taking a look at your frigid temperatures across the Great Lakes the midwest in the northeast.

It has been the deep freeze for last week or so continuing into the weekend little bit of a -- up next week.

But that it looks like heading into the latter part of the work week.

Temperatures are going to freeze up again so keep the winter clothes close by.

Here are your highs today 24 for New York thirteen -- -- -- 21 in Detroit twenty born Chicago minus three caribou Maine.

Windchill advisories for the upper midwest parts the Great Lakes in the New England area where it's going to feel twenty.

Thirty below zero with the wind -- so really dangerous make sure that your indoors as much as possible selling -- over the last twelve hours Great Lakes still seeing.

Some lake effect snow because they haven't frozen over yet the lakes and got that all that Arctic air pouring across.

Making for quite a bit of snow feet of snow two to three feet already in some of the -- lake effect areas we could see an additional six to twelve.

This clipper system moving across the mid Atlantic -- a little late to dusting of snow as we head into Friday and Saturday another storm system.

Is going to move into this region and that could bring some plow the snow maybe we'll have to watch sports on the computer -- don't quite know what to make a bit.

So we could see anywhere from a dusting to several inches of snow as we head into Friday and Saturday also mixing -- may -- sleet and or freezing rain to just keep that in mind.
