Hello there I'm meteorologist Janice Dean taking a look at -- daytime highs across the northeast and the Great Lakes today temperatures are actually on the rise by Wednesday Thursday we're gonna see.
Temperatures across the northeast pushing fifty degrees so little topsy turvy in the weather department here 26 is -- daytime high in New York 22 in Pittsburgh 22 in Detroit nineteen Marquette.
Four in caribou and with the wind it feels a little cooler than that but.
Temperatures are going up as we head into the weekend that's the good news bad news is we have a storm system that's gonna bring one to three inches of snow.
Across portions of interior northeast across the Ohio River valley.
Along the coast we could -- a little -- but mainly -- slushy inch so we're not.
Getting a blockbuster snowstorm out of this system.
That also is some good news but it's gonna cause some travel problems just keep that in mind.
Sell the Ohio River valley parts of Tennessee Kentucky in through West Virginia and Virginia we could see -- mix.
Freezing rain and or -- so just be extra careful on the roadways try to stay off of them if you are -- that freezing rain advisory.
Future radar this storm will be -- here by Friday into Saturday.
And they -- gonna watch another system kind of creep -- across the midwest heading into the weekend otherwise.
Fairly dry.
