Hi everyone I'm meteorologist -- -- -- from the fox extreme weather center with your forecast for the southern plains and also portions of the southeast and -- today.

Is going to be a very warm day out across places in Florida across parts of the Gulf Coast and even across the state of Texas take a look at some these high temperatures.

Well above average even four Florida 85 degrees for a high temperature in Orlando 81 in Miami and Tallahassee and over in -- -- well.

Made eighties for you as we head into the afternoon seven -- in Houston in and it also in Dallas.

And northern areas very mild as well like in Nashville we -- expecting -- at seventeen you.

And 64 degrees over in Kansas City -- this warm air is actually going to be producing some issues for us here across portions of -- southern plains because.

It will be helping to fuel some strong storms ahead of a cold front.

And some of these storms could be so -- -- that they could produce severe weather across portions of eastern Texas Oklahoma.

The state of Arkansas -- -- -- up into portions of the midwest so please be safe if you live out here we're talking about tornadoes possible.

Large sized hail and even some damage you invest with some within some of these storms so that -- of storms already fired up across parts of Oklahoma and also into Missouri and portions of northern Texas eventually that -- had eastbound.

And by the time we head into Wednesday more severe weather will be possible but this time for -- off towards the east across places in Alabama Mississippi also across Georgia.

Into portions of the mid Atlantic and again that will be on Wednesday so once that frontal system -- a southern plains.

We're -- see movies behind it much colder air and some of that cold air we'll actually producing since -- areas for -- -- -- north.

Even a little bit of it across portions of Kansas -- Kansas City heads up he could be looking at a little bit of snow early on Wednesday otherwise behind -- some.
