Hello there I'm meteorologist Janice Dean taken a look at winter again across the northeast we -- a brief taste of springtime still looking at 54 degrees in New York but that's about to change in the next twelve hours you -- see the cold front.

Behind this warm air fifteen now it is your daytime high in Boston but again.

In the next twelve hours to -- a thirty degree temperature dropped 25 in Detroit attended Marquette or in Minneapolis with the windchill.

It feels even cooler than that.

Also -- way to Chicago with sixteen.

We set a record high on Tuesday.

64 degrees in Chicago and it's going to be three degrees on Saturday so.

Quite a temperature -- satellite -- energy all the storms that we saw across the south in the southeast now pushing up into the northeast.

Delays across all of the big airports.

JFK and LaGuardia and that's gonna continue enforcement throughout the day today.

Behind this system as the cold front exits were looking at the potential for snow six to twelve even eighteen inches of snow downwind.

Of the Great Lakes so a lot of weather to talk about across the northeast there's a future radar we'll see that -- six system exit the East Coast.

Still windy conditions throughout the day and then we're gonna see that lake effect snow machine cranked up.
