Fox News alert and reports now of a shooting at a middle school in Atlanta.

Our affiliate there has a chopper over the scene we are seeing some limited police activity at this hour.

So far we have been told the police do have a suspect in custody.

Traces gathering more information at the breaking news -- Trace.

A couple of confusing things in this -- now we're getting reports that are possibly two schools are I shouldn't be backtrack.

That there are two schools being named we're not clear exactly which school is involved -- mentioning carver high school's lowest price middle school now these reports.

The shooting only happened at one.

Police are thinking it's -- price middle school it might -- that both schools schools are close together and they've got them both on lock down what we understand.

Is that one student has been shot.

That one student has been taken into custody.

And that a teacher has been injured but the teacher was not shot.

You can see from our fox affiliate there WAG hey -- live look now there is a heavy police presence this is videotape from moments ago when.

The alleged suspect was taken into custody again it's unclear if the suspect was a student and if this happened in the classroom in the school or outside of the school grounds we do know that one student was shot that ambulances are arriving on scene as well as swat teams but they do believe that the suspect has now been taken into custody.
