Time for the daily bias back -- just didn't -- come told radio news service one of our favorite sparring partners on this segment.
-- again today from DC good to see -- Justin.
They -- to be here always happens -- I guess everybody remembers.
The -- campaign promise -- President Obama made back in 2008 with closing gitmo.
Not so much and you think the media is giving him something of apostle that.
You know I do.
We saw the news that he was -- orientation the dignitary who's there who's overseeing its closure and you know -- essentially that is giving up.
And in response the media has given kind of a collective shrug.
And this didn't really sharp contrast to what we saw under bush where there was continuous.
Criticism over Guantanamo Bay.
And a series of foreign policy.
You know I was in the steps that he took and -- -- not seeing any of that being you know reflected on Obama even though he is pursuing some of the same policies.
And in a lot of cases pursuant ones that are you know just -- just desire questionable if not more so -- I think pilots who really obvious double standards.
Did the wind and we did when you told a Baghdad get low end and -- the other pots of perhaps.
President Bush's policies that have been carried full would even stepped up I guess we we look at drone strikes as well the drone campaign.
Wouldn't.
Do you think we would be seeing a very different coverage -- in many top of the media Justin.
If this were a Republican president doing the exact same things.
I I had to be absolutely what.
And that's was really disconcerting about this you know during.
The Bush Administration I think the media has pretty much on the ball going after -- -- questionable practices.
And they're not going after it now and it really just raises questions.
You know -- -- really actually looking for a more sane and you know more responsible foreign policy where they really being good watchdogs or were they playing politics and that I think is the question that needs to be answered now.
So give it if you're in the media though how do you how would you -- The sort of -- closing it.
All of get model I mean there is Arab is our policy issue.
You don't -- that -- the reasons are what do you think what you've just sort of except well it's not closing therefore it's not a story is that what's going on here.
What example is still fertile ground for a story you know right now we have the ongoing hearings for Khalid Sheikh Mohamed.
And that has gotten very little coverage in the media even though there -- reporters over there right now who are saying that it is kind of a questionable.
He scenario that's going on right now where.
Things are being censored by people that they don't quite know were behind.
You know -- decisions and whatnot.
And regardless if it's still hope it's still a big story it's still.
As the president put a recruiting tool for a lot of potential terrorists and it's still something that should very much be part of the public debate.
All right will see if the media -- -- to the occasional rises to.
Justin is challenge and just -- -- of course is just one of those who holds the media's feet to the file.
Every weekend Saturday's 2:30 and 11:30 eastern on FOX News Watch hosted by -- Scott -- wonderful to see you as always have a good day my friend.
I think you Jonathan.
