Live flying tourists get ready for a vacation that is literally.

Out of this world as soon as next year they could be blasting into outer space.

-- house -- is live in Mojave California Adam.

Pedro we saw the end of the special program of course and last fall endeavor making that trip through Los Angeles to a museum.

About ninety -- -- -- to the north and east of Los Angeles is one of the areas where the private industry to private part of the space race is going crazy.

The New Mexico -- -- another area.

Here in Mojave there are twelve private companies that are making it a reality literally as you mentioned in the next couple of years you and I can go to space.

Thanks.

Family vacation -- states.

-- may not be so far away some.

A UN IA our children our grandchildren are -- nothing of this they're gonna go to a space where they're gonna get on a space plane and they're gonna take off and go somewhere.

I believe.

In your lifetime you'll have the opportunity to buy a ticket to go to space.

Over a dozen private aerospace companies in Mojave California and around the country are developing technology such as reusable launch vehicles called space taxis.

And habitable space -- Which will allow for a long term stays in space suborbital spaceflight for private citizens are being planned as early as next year.

Many companies are teaming up with NASA taking advantage of the open playing field and shared technology.

-- -- whatever the reasons.

NASA has to.

-- tracked him and then offer.

And -- -- to the private sector to come in and work with them for whatever those reasons are we don't really care all we know is that the opportunities are here.

Opportunities that include expanding space programs for other countries and as the industry grows competition will undoubtedly drive costs down.

That presents other problems such as health concerns and government regulations.

Right now the FAA only has regulatory authority for all launches and re entries of commercial space -- they can't regulate currently on orbit activities but no doubt the demand is there virgin galactic already has over 500 people booked.

With deposits of 20000 dollars each to go into orbit.

Yeah Clinton's -- is better.

-- -- We don't -- the -- -- headquarters both in Houston and a Florida -- the private space race at royal over the country with the space port of course being in New Mexico and then here.

In Mojave California is actually over the race going on John.

As a space for New Mexico getting some competition for here in California has legislation introduced to try to keep some of those companies here have their own space sports here in the Golden State -- As you can tell the private space race is off and going and hopefully you and I can jump of one of these flights and a couple of years how far we have come very quickly.

Adam Housley thank you -- it.
